As a kid it was all about BA and Murdock. But binge watching these as an adult really made me love the dynamic between these two, especially in the later episodes.
If it hadn’t been for these two there literally would have been no show. With the severe problems between Peppard and Mr T and them not wanting to work together, Murdock and Face were the ones who carried the show. They were the best anyway. Mr T was a something new and George was a has-been movie actor who had an inflated ego. These two both wanted to have it all but they became more of the “supporting” characters while the other two did all the heavy lifting. They became fast friends who are still that to this day.

Murdock was my favorite, and his interactions with Face were always the best. i always wanted to be like him when I was a kid, and I learnt to do the accents, the comedy fast switches, I would do commentary on stuff and crack up my family. He actually had a big impact on my final personality, since I did become a funny, slightly crazy, emotionally present person like him (though I found that in other characters too, like Treat Williams in "Hair") - and I too take adversity with a smile, which was such a Murdock and A-team way to be. I think this show had a very good impact on people overall - the only effect that governments might not like 😉is that it teaches you to be an anarchist in a way - to act accordingly to your own moral code, to do good , and not necessarily according to the rules put down by society/police/army. I guess that was no big problem in the 80's, but with the crazy governments lately, I think this kind of thinking scares them now🔥.
Murdock had a big impact on me, too, and is eternally a comfort character for me. As someone with anxiety he always inspired me to be more carefree and not worry what people think.
@@zerodaryls I feel you. I went to a school where bullies ruled (in Sweden), and even the brand of jeans you wore would get you into trouble!! They got physical, and there was a time I contemplated burning down the school building at night, just so I could be free of them. But I also never tried to be accepted in their "gang", went my own way (which pisses them off even more), and I guess at that time, if anyone diagnosed me, anxiety would be way up there (I bit my fingernails and dreaded those people). I think I sort of had parallel personalities back then - one always ready to fight in school, and one fun, creative, happy at home. I do find that one always has to be ones own compass in life - If you try to let yourself be guided by the standards of others, you will get lost faster than a New-Yorker in the Ontario woods! I got through my rough times - I hope yours are behind you too! Only thing that it messed up permanently in me is that I don't like big groups of people much, and I totally don't like Sweden😄.
zerodaryls I love the A team. Do you think you could possibly make A compilation of all the times face gets hurt like when he is trying to be all tough but gets hit and get all wobbly lol he gets a lot like it in this one
