Hi John, It looks like you had a great time with the community and added some awesome cards to your collection. The '52 Yankees sketchbook is really cool-those kinds of pieces are off-the-radar gems. I enjoyed hearing about why you picked up the cards you did. The Dickey card features a great image with the beautiful Art Deco style that reflects the period. The image of Reggie in the old Yankee Stadium is wonderful. I'm glad you were able to share the experience with your brother. Take care.
Thanks, Terry. It was a really good two days with my brother, getting to know more people in the hobby, and adding some notable cards to the collection. I haven't opened the sketch book since I've been home but it'll be really fun to (carefully) flip through.
John it looks like you did really well for your PC at the National! I enjoyed watching your pick ups. I love the thought behind the Reggie Super. I've added it to my "one day" wantlist. It's a really nice card!
Hey John, Looks like you had a fantastic time at the National, really cool your brother came in from NY to experience it with you! Love the 74 Yaz he brought you, that is one of my favorite of his cards. You had some fantastic pick-ups, the Dickey and Greenberg are both really sweet cards! Love the eye appeal on that 68 Rose, you know I like the Topps Super, that Reggie pose with Yankee Stadium in the background is sweet! Really cool Yankee yearbook, looking forward to seeing a more in-depth video on that! Congratulations my friend, looking forward to hitting some card shows/shops together this summer!
@@vintageonvintage817 Hey Steve, I think it was a really good show. Having the first one already in the books from last year definitely helped this time. Dickey was a goal accomplished; Greenberg just a total surprise, and Rose I couldn't pass it up. Same with that Reggie. But no Vada Pinson, lol (soon enough). Yes, let's try to make an LCS or two happen before the summer is out.
John I am so bummed we didn’t get to hang! I was looking for you after the Friday dinner, but I believe you had left already. That Diamond stars bill dickey is beautiful my friend.
@@EverydayCardCollector-Jason I didn't see you in the room when I was heading out. Hope you had a great show and that we can still cross paths later this summer!

Nice chatting at the Legion. 👍 my pickup video airs on Tuesday. If I make it up to Your neck of the woods, I’ll check out those card shops.

Great pickups, my friend! The 39 Greenberg is an excellent find. Hopefully we will cross paths next year at one of the big shows.

Great pick ups. Can't go wrong with a Playball Hall of Famer for $25.
I thought so too on that Durocher. Thanks for the comment!
