Spectacular night views. I could just sit and stare out the window every night. Downtown Chicago is so beautiful at night (and during the day, too!). When you're in the bottom 50%, it's such a treat to have peek at how the upper 1% live. It's as though we can see them but they can't see us. Two months' rent in that apartment would equal the payoff on my condo (different city, of course), so I actually consider myself fortunate to have what I have at such a relatively low price - and I really wouldn't want to live in something that looks like an upscale 90's shopping mall, anyway. But oh, those great Chicago night views can't be beat!

The empty second one is much better because it's easier to envision rescuing it from the uncomfortable corporate office building stark minimalist hell of the first one.
If only it were for sale right?! Its too dreamy!!! I agree! Some people aren't in Chicago permanently so it's nice to have options. I can show you some penthouses for sale! Fill out our form & I will be in touch :) www.livechi.tv
This is not for people like you though.. me personally would rent it if im rich or not but on AirBnB for few days only ofcourse, cus i like the entire aesthetics and views .
Well for that price, the feeling you're staying in a 5 star hotel suite everyday isnt a bad feeling lol. Personally, I think apartments like these are on the rise with newer generations because more than ever we enjoy amenities & the *vibe* of luxury rather than actual physical items & such. Newer generations (me included) are more about aesthetics and how we FEEL, if it gives us a good feeling coming home to it and when we look at it then its usually enough even if it doesnt seem as "practical"
No one needs such opulence! With all the suffering and hunger in the world, how can anyone be so selfish? I love Chicago and its fascinating history but too much for too few is how great empires fell.
i dont see paying a half million dollars a year for anything in chicago that i cannot own. I would love to purchase that space not rent it. Very beautiful though. Just not practical.
Or you could take that $43,000 and make life a lot easier for those people riding the blue line train all night long to O'hare Airport and the people who have regular priced apartments who have to take the same trains daily to work to prevent us from winding up with their same fate, lives easier.
@@roshanbaig2I know plenty of people that could afford this apartment who would never spend that type of money on it because they live more modest lifestyles. They’d likely just save the money, which in my mind is better because spending that much on real estate drives up housing prices for everybody and reduces the supply of affordable housing. Let the wealthy and ultra-wealthy speculate with modern art and other arbitrary things. Nobody dies of cold in the winter sleeping on the streets because the rich drove up the price of a Warhol and they can’t have one, whereas plenty of people do because they drove up the price of housing.
It used to be so much better. I lived there from like 2013-2021 (wanted to leave 2019 but got stuck during Covid). Beyond the politics and crime, just with the essence of a big city in mind, I can’t understand how anyone over the age 30 can deal with living there, let alone raise a family there. If you have enough money to spend $43k/month, then why not buy something with land instead of locking yourself in a box that someone else owns with no grass. I just don’t get it.
Just a little out of my budget. Show me the one for $1000/ month and I’ll wow the realtor with my signature.

So you're good with $20k per month rent? You can still find some amazing high end places for that price.
Is this still available? Do u have anything like this (esp.. lakefront) for SALE ?
Shoot me an email and I’ll do some digging for you.

What's the price to buy?
Gimme that bedroom view and the foot of my bed is going up against the glass. Imagine waking up to that view every morning!
That’s what I’m saying. 👏
It’s literally like gossip girl Serena’s family rented a penthouse with furniture seemed so normal to them so weird to us normal people 😅
So so so beautiful though!
This place should be on Airbnb....................PARTY!

No. Go away. Stop buying our property.
And you, stop selling our property to foreigners. @@LiveChiTV
Very small refrigerator and even smaller freezer for the refrigerator you couldn't keep that much frozen food in there.
ummm your voice is soooo soothing.
No balcony??
There is a balcony on the first level, and a gigantic terrace on the second. Check out the full video!
Only for the 30k one not the 43k @@LiveChiTV
How many stories high is this unit?
This is the 39th and 40th floor 2-story penthouse!
Hello do they rent these Penthouses out for events?
I would just buy this penthouse instead of renting it because of the resale value

Just pray a republican take a hold of Chicago then, those crimes and shits aren't helping! its ridiculous how its downplayed!
How much are the assessments?
This penthouse is for rent so there are no assessments! Let me know if you need more info!
beautiful, elegant, and classy. the apartment is pretty nice too.
Walk outside and it’s River North! You can get shot!
I'll take 2!
We have one furnished and unfurnished, ready for ya! ;)
G R E A T opening ! Ha ha. But 43K ... not so much. Maybe 20K.
It should be a rooftop pool and hot tub for that price not that know off hot tub :( 😅😂
2months rent is more than what it cost me to go to college for 5 years 😅
Word. Someone needs it! :)
If you can afford 43K a month just better off buying. Doubt they actually got that much for it anyway.
It’s not necessarily easy to find brand new places like this for sale!
@@LiveChiTVwhy not other cities like New York have lots for sale 😢
crazy
The rent per month is three years' salary for me.
Not gonna lie, for half a mil a year, I expected more. Great views but this feels like a hotel suit and not a home. Great video, though.
This one is fully furnished, the vacant one is a lower price!
THANK YOU THEY OUT THEIR RABID MIND

The problem isn't people with access to such wealth, it's the money that's printed out of thin air. Overt wealth is just a symptom.
This is some Mr burns shit
Damn just a little short
Great views...of the killing fields.
$43,000 a month to rent!.
Lol I’m in this building daily…. eh….its right next to the freeway and river north sucks

Can you take $750
😂😂
I dunno. That one building is blocking what would’ve been a pretty exquisite view. Hard pass. 😊
Too bad I'm poor...
you better have a good month. if your gonna live there, lol
Everyone can see you
No where near 43k a month sorry
Migrants will love it
Soooooo much money for ugly-modern design!! This place has all the warmth of a morgue!!

Give them all 25 cents a month? That would really help.
someone is stopping the blue line train riders from becoming doctors?
