and I'm an Arrow OS and Havoc OS user for years and Pixel Experience too.
Evolution x is one of the smoothed ROMs with lots features that make sense. But heard that it's also the hardest to solve bugs

I am using redmi note 5 pro since 2018. It has almost 5 years completed. Last update was Android 9 and it became very slow .
Before 6 months I have rooted my phone ,then installed pixel experience . It's running with latest Android 13. My phone is not like a bullet traim❤❤❤.
Now It is faster than even lot of new phone.
Can you please tell me the process to install? Do I need to root my phone. If yes, How ?

No rooting required for custom ROM installation. Only unlocked bootloader. But rooting has lots of benefits today's day also.

These were the things i used to do in 2016-2019 with my samsung phone. But back then it was like a spare phone and no regrets if something bad happens. Now as i have more critical Apps in my primary phone like banking apps i dont feel like rooting phone. One of the reason of not doing is that in first place there is no need now as new android have became more optimized for usage

Sir Mane apne poco x3 pro me gladiator os rom Dali thi, its a risky thing ha par mane pura 1 month lia tha pura instalation learn karne ke lie or mane with proper instructions rom install kia tha. Now my phone is working like a beast. But mane kernal ke sath bi pange lie the 😅 witch I don't recommend but Mera phone ki performance improve bi hui thi

I am using Ricedroid in my poco device which comes with MIUI which is known for lagging. Believe me custom roms are best. Now my device runs very smoothly. I would recommend everyone to please experience custom roms at least once. But I really don't know about any security threats!! Be careful. 🙂

I am using custom rom with root, no ads in youtube any many more no risk at all , no virus at all, no problem at all, great performance, no tracking by Google and full privacy. One secret feature i am using which is only possible with root is every human like who lives on earth but that feature is confidential i am not discussing here.

Will any custom Rom support in every device or the custom Rom are made for a specific device?
Every device has different architectures. Single custom rom can't be installed in all devices. You have to install rom that optimised for the architecture.

Mistakes-do not follow all instructions step by step for bootloader then their phone hanged-cause they don't know about,

I completely disagree with you in terms of superuser... It is must for basic modification like host, adblock, tracking, do you know companies can track you easily, they are recording your voice through ai, for that purpose root is necessary if you know how to control it

NEVER BUY phones with MediaTek Helio processor if you want to install custom ROM.
There are no official builds from any custom ROM developers for models with this processor and if you try to flash unofficial or "ROM built for other models" in these, you may have serious issues and even may brick your phone.
Same story with most of the mediatek chips
