Late reply but for a decent entry-level cart I'm using the Sumiko Pearl (I paid £120 a few months ago, it may be more now though, I'm not sure)). It's really good for mids and highs, I wear hearing aids in both ears and that's where my deficits lie (lay?) so it's a great stylus for me. Whatever you decide you'll need a MM cart not an MC cart. I literally scored the Technics SL-5300 today and am loving getting familiar with it, it sounds incredible, and even sounded great with the cheap, dusty cart it came with. And I hadn't even put my hearing aids in! Once I'd swapped carts etc. it just sounds fantastic. It was ridiculously cheap for such a great TT, as well.
