Have both, the A1 and the A9 III and whenever I switch back from A9 III to the A1 in the field, it feels like the camera is old and slow - which is crazy to say They A1 win's in overall image quality, bit better ISO performance and better dynamic range. But NOT by as much as you would think it is. For me the ONLY real downside of the A9 III is the MP count, 24 is good enough for most jobs don't get me wrong , but sometimes I wish it would have around 30-33MP which would be my personal sweet spot. But for now, if I would have to start from scratch and had to buy two new cameras, I would buy myself two SONY A9 III's ..... definitely. Oh and I am using these cameras with 600 F4 and 300 F2.8 GM currently, great combination!
Really nice review! Especially the real bird shots are nice. Have you tested birds with a busier background? The flower shots seem a little too easy 😅 Also what’s this location? It’s beautiful!
I am facing issue with A9iii RAW image in LRC-2022. Not able to open. I donot have any issue with RAW file from my A7iv. Have you faced any such issue ?
I like waiting for that exact moment and taking a few pictures. I'm not a big fan of higher frames unless you are doing in for a magazine photoshoot or sports new. 120 frames is like taking a screenshot from a video.
Good review. IMO, the concerns over dynamic range were overblown. I own this camera… also a Red and a Canon R3. I’m not seeing any loss in dynamic range. CineD reports that the dynamic range is actually better than the Canon. Where the Sony definitely has an edge is in exposure latitude. It’s really quite good.
Really great video! And really great camera! I would love to buy one but 7300€ price here in Finland is way too much for me. I need much more FPS than my Canon EOS 6D (Mark 1) has (only 5 FPS). With that I take about 140 000 pictures per year so 120 FPS could make it 3,3 million per year. 😅 I really don’t need that much speed but I want it!
@@RG-Godzilla_19 but so many thing are not there like high resolution dynamic range iso performance colour rendition which a1 has..and with this price i think a1 is more prefarable
@@soumakbinduwildlifeActually above 800 ISO, A9 iii doesn't have any less dynamic range than the other cameras. Just tell me when was the last time you used base ISO when shooting wildlife? So, A9 iii is definitely a beast for sports, concerts and wildlife photography. Still, personally I will buy the A1 due those 50MP and high versatility.
@@Chopper153 the question is why a93 when you have a1..the desire for high speed camera is endless..and I think with this price tag very few will purchase the camera
For 120 you need to sacrifice the quality, i bought one already, now regrets. If you already own a9 or a9 ii , don't go for this camera. Influencers say many things, use your common sense.

Great video! I'm having a hard time figuring out how to save "Bracket" settings in the memory recall function. Is the a9iii capable of doing this?
Any noise issue in low light photography while iso 6000. 10000 etc...
It is as good than a A1
Ma’am your videos are professional and they are very good and thanks for photography beginner shorts
Let yourself capture more great visual experiences

Why are you using LR 2022? Update to latest version so that it can support the new cameras.
24mp isn't enough, said the same about the R3.

Great camera, but not for me. I'll keep my A1 cameras and wait for the A1 Mark 2...cannot go back to 24 mp, not now.
i believe you are the first woman in india to own a 6 lakh rupees a9iii ?
