    Thanks Matt for letting me and everyone else along on your daily duties. No matter how mundane, life on the farm shows us all just how much needs to be done, to keep the machines running. Your explantation of the contours makes sense now. Brett was doing g a video back some ti e, where he put the start point, destination point, the grade, then put Tiny to work filling in that eroded creek. That is a massive amount of work the TINY Dozers have done, with their capable operators as well. Love your videos. Keep them coming. I think I can say for all your viewers and subscribers, we ALL APPRECIATE the work and effort of the extra time you all take to video and up,oad to TH-cam. ❤

    I'm 75 and have spent a good bit of time on Cat equipment. Dad was with Cat from '29 to '67 with a little vacation to the pacific with the US Navy.
    I've seen many of the things Cat has done through the years but that "hell hole" situation must be the worst maintenance head-ache ever!!
    Good on 'ya Matt for crawling in there...

    Coming from someone that has worked on and repaired sheet metal equipment over 50 years. Picking up that brake by the bed is an excellent way to warp it.

    I think the AC issues stem from when Bradley got the dozer stuck.....I think that is what really caused it

    Matt I was thinking the same thing . What fall do you have on the contors? Do you have to put in ponding places to slow the water down ?

    • @jefftheaussie2225
      @jefftheaussie2225 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      About 1% (1 metre in 100) is good but I think they may be using less. Too little fall and the water will build up to much in the banks and possibly go over the top in heavy rain and too much and it will wash and cause a gully in the bank. They are often called contour banks but they don’t actually follow the contour as it is level and the bank has a fall.

  • @gardnep
    @gardnep 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Is the fall of contour about 600mm or 2 ft / km? Great job. Thanks.

    • @jefftheaussie2225
      @jefftheaussie2225 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      1%. 1 metre in a 100. They may be using a bit less.
