- In this video I am explaining how to create a rule in outlook to move the emails from inbox always to some other folders or even sub folders under inbox.
The simplest procedure is as follows:
Always move messages from a specific sender
With a message selected and previewed in the Reading Pane or open in its own window, in the Move group, click Rules, and then click Always Move Messages From.
Select a folder, and then click OK.
However I have explained an advanced method to move outlook emails including already existing emails in outlook inbox to the specific folders.

Question: we do have shared email, does it also apply to others who are receiving it?
This was helpful 👍
Thanks its very help. Also could you explain how this folder rules can be executed automatically to all in coming emails. Instead us press run now option each time. As it didn't work for me.
I have tried the same but instead of mail i selected with a "specific word in the subject" and I have run with all the messages in the inbox....here the issue is future emails are not going to the specified folder so I have to run the rule again....is there any solution for this?

Is it possible to implement the same in a shared mailbox as well....will it work?
Thanks for the video, I want to know - the mail should get deleted if "2 specific words" are there in the mail body, how to do it ? Suppose in the mail body 1st word is "Hello" & 2nd word is "Bye" - if this condition satisfies then only it will delete the mail otherwise if only one word is there then it will not delete... Please suggets.
can i set a timer like every 15 minutes, i want to move the mails to my inbox to a destinated folder
Why do you want that? Can you tell me what you are looking to achieve? (I manage the rules on Outlook)
It was very helpful thank u so much 🙂

Is there any way you can create a rule for all messages that go in the To and Cc field redirect to a certain email?
Hi All,
Yes, you can automatically forward all emails received onto a different email. Or even choose specific senders emails to be forwarded. Bare in mind, that if you are transferring work data using other peoples personal information to a personal email, this could be deemed a breach of GDPR. You won’t be breaking the law, your company would be, because it would be your companies responsibility to ensure this cannot happen and to safeguard the data. However you will be heavily disciplined or even sacked if caught as it could risk the companies reputation and lead to large fines. It would not take long as the IT team to discover this as they would more than likely receive a spam report. Because of the abnormal amount of repeated traffic.
Tread carefully and evaluate if it worth it people.
The best use of this tool is moving emails internally to folders in your email app. For example, if you work with 4 clients, John Doe, Jane Doe, Elma Thud & Likkle Timi you could make folders accordingly with their names, and set it to detect Keywords like (Elma + Thud + ET + E.T + Elma.T) and if it is in the message, it will automatically move it to the corresponding folder. You can then set it to show on the folder that there is an unopened email waiting. This would massively streamline your work flow and help prioritise whilst at the same time keeping your inbox tidier.
Please anybody correct my 6000 word essay if I’m wrong or have missed key points.
Kind regards,
L
what happened if i were to delete the folder? will my emails in the folder be deleted too?
Each time I need to run the rule..its not working for future emails...any suggestions for this

how to do this on a shared mailbox?
I tried it, but new emails from the same sender is still going in inbox folder, the new ones are not going in the new folder automatically.
do we need to uncheck : "Stop processing more rules option" in the select action window? Because you didn't do that in the video?
👌
if only they actually worked
