'The Great Britain XII' - Ribblehead - 3 May 2019 - 35018 'British India Line'

Day 7 of 9 of The Great Britain XII railtour travelled from Ayr to Carlisle, where the locos were changed, then over the Settle line to York and Scarborough. At Carlisle the double header locos from Ayr were replaced with Merchant Navy Class no 35018 'British India Line'.
Seen here is 35018 waiting patiently at Carlisle for the tour to arrive, then it crossing Ribblehead viaduct and passing Ribblehead Station.

Thanks Alan - its just that little bit higher than where most people shoot from - and a short walk towards Ribblehead Quarry from where the cars are parked. (But no access to the station sadly!)
