Watched the movie just now on Netflix. While I thought that there were many actors showing mediocre acting skills, same old mannerisms by Suresh Krishna and Vani Vishwanath, the movie is still an amazing watch. A definite fun ride.
My biggest problem nowadays with Malayalam bgm is that they are all copying from Hollywood. John Wick's bgm was shamelessly lifted. I am a big fan of Rex Vijayan and this was very disappointing.
No lady characters are convincing and artificial especially Surabhi, Darsana. An ordinary movie with predictable moments. You can compare this with the below average Hollywood movie not a class movie. Background, camera and male actors performance
Really? Where in the world is this happening? When? 90s in Kerala? The gunplay is a dead horse that Hollywood is still beating to its max. If you want to see real gunplay, go see Retaliation, Fast & Furious 6, Divergent, Mission Impossible-Rogue Nation, Lone Survivor, The Equalizer, American Sniper, etc, etc... The 'Replacement Killers' set has the record for the most bullets fired in an American film. We are beyond 'shock and owe!' Technically, how good can one go? Is there anything you cannot do now? Going as violent as one can go is the game these days; it is cynical. Invest in artificial blood factory stocks, people! "No lag, I enjoyed it, but don't ask me why...." Right.
