Great video Ray! Not happy about the closing gap in the cost of living. Especially the tax situation. Ugh! However, I don't regret leaving New York. NY is currently out of control! ✨😄✨

Im so tried of ny , i lived in tampa for 2 yrs when i was a little girl but now im 31 and i wanna move back to florida. But im scared bc alot of ppl end up moving back. Ny quality of life is deteriorating 😞😞

Hi Rhina! We moved here from Glen Cove LI NY. Yes, Jobs are important. West Palm Beach has had a recent uptick in that department in recent years. Also a lot of remote workers moving here. Have you ever visited our area?
I only visited Orlando area and only because we went to Disney. We went to Tampa 2 years ago for a week to look for homes (bad idea) the realtor was HORRIBLE !! So we only looked at a few homes and called it quits with her and went to Disney and back to NY.

Moving from NJ to Florida (again). Except, I have to come back to NJ for work several times a year. Thinking of living in my minivan to avoid just about ALL issues with housing in Florida. I mean, 90% of my interest of Florida is Disney! Just think, I can answer all my work emails while sitting in WDW. LOL. What a life! FYI: Even if Florida costs 22% MORE, it is worth it. There's NOTHING really FUN and worth while in NJ/NY/PA. You just work to pay for your house! That's about it. Eat, Work, Sleep, repeat!
That is great feedback and insight. I feel many people stay in the NY/NJ area just because of work. I speak with people considering that move every week. That might be the #1 thing keeping them there. Family a close 2nd. Regards, Ray

All the New Yorkers moved Florida and bought jeeps and are now on safari with their big ugly golden Doodle Poodle dogs. I never seen so many people that copy each other No originality 😅😅😅 who’s got the biggest tires on them keeps huh. 😅😅😅 never seen nothing like it. It’s not Florida anymore it Little Jersey Shores.

The cost of living in a home is BS! 2005 i was paying 500$ a month for a 2 bedroom apartment . Now in 2023 I pay 2500$ for a 2 bedroom apartment. Wtf?? Please help we are drowning!
