People are UNBELIEVABLE!! I'm a new convert to Orthodoxy and I wouldn't DARE talk to my priest anything like this. - P.S. as a convert I find it hard to cope with the cradle (Greek) Orthodox chatting through the Divine Liturgy.
First of all I'm Catholic scottish so not much going for me but I was doing alot of praying over Easter I love your mannerisms really within a min I felt close to you ,why can't I get this with jesus I hear you say wrong faith maybe so I do have a plan but will our father give in to me I don't have a Spiritual Guidance only what I see on TH-cam God bless us all Amen
My goodness, father stay strong, I am sure your mentor, blessed be his memory, is watching and supporting you in all your steps. This is the most ridiculous behaviour ive heard towards a priest. Had I said these things in your face I think father Seraphim would personally slap me. Thank God we have you, Gods blessings on you and your family father Paul

Dear father, this is exactly what I experience as a Catholic priest! Very few people understand the daily burdens we carry, and I appreciate you sharing a bit of it. May we carry this cross with His strength, surrender and joy! 🙏🏼
I am so grateful for our priest. He runs two parishes atm and I’ve no idea how he does it. Hearing this makes me truly sad but I am going to make a point of telling him how grateful we are. God bless Father.
Just to follow up, a friend asked me if I’d go to adoration with him yesterday so I went and stayed for mass, after mass I was able to shake his hand and thank him for everything he does for us. He was made up, and I just wanted to share that to say thank you for your inspiration and the great work you’re doing. God bless you father.
Many of these are type of questions and silly comments from "paper" Catholics, who pay more attention to the form than to the meaning and faith itself. Some are funny, some are sad, but we can imagine similar comments and notes from pharises and gentiles towards Jesus...and we know about some comments from apostles as well 😅 So this is the life of a priest, even in such moments resembling the life of Christ on earth 🙏🏻✝️
