APR foam is not dense enough to give you adequate lower back support. It provides great pressure relief, but leaves your lower back feeling unsupported. This mattress gave me lower back pain. I'm going to switch to the Adapt Medium Hybrid, because I feel like the coils will provide me with the lower back support that I need.
