Wave piston design lowers fuel consumption

The Volvo Group’s new truck engines are more fuel efficient as a result of their intelligent piston design. Waves have been added to the piston crown to improve the use of oxygen.
The more efficient combustion process it delivers has halved the quantity of soot particles emitted by the engine and has also reduced fuel consumption by an average of two percent.

As time passes by IC Engines will go close to 60% efficiency and their toxic emissions goes close to zero.

They must be a 6 nozzle injector, they would have to be clocked properly to line up with the groves in the pistons. I wonder if that means a new head that would only let the injectors go in one way.

How does this affect to the swirl inside the bowl? Feels like it is killing it?

The ridges gives more concentration The flow and create waves it provided one flow more previsseble but not ocour temperature oncentration and points of pressure in ocorrenci of preiginition?
