Oh boy! Do I ever need Joe! He knew exactly what and how to do the job! (and he doesn't seem a bit scared of spiders lurking in the crawl space either!)
i guess im randomly asking but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost the account password. I would love any assistance you can offer me.
I was thinking of doing the same thing with French doors I installed in my aunts shed. Big Box stores didn’t have any out-swing doors in stock. But because of security reason I left them as is.
We don’t leave the doors open during certain times of the year. Compared to Virginia and West Virginia, bugs (biting flying bugs - mosquitoes, gnats, Asian ladybugs, no see ums) are not a problem.
And your point? This French Door has been working perfectly for over five years. Yes, the exterior exposed hinges are getting a little rusty, but they are tamper proof for removal. Plus, out entire backyard is protected with a 7’ fence. Thanks for your comment!
WHAT YOU ARE CALLING 'PINCHER BUGS' ARE T--E-R-M-T-E-S! And you better do something about it OR you won't have a house left in about 20 years. And IF you try and sell it and the buyer does an inspection a bank will not approve a loan.
LMAO, the door is backwards. You have the hinges on the outside? Anyone can remove the doors with no key. HIRE A PROFESSIONAL IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR.
I intentionally ordered these pre-hung French Doors to open outwardly so they would not bump into furniture when opening. This north side of the house gets a lot of wind-driven rain but the doors have never leaked. My only concern so far is that the hinges are already showing signs of rust. Eventually, I will replace them with stainless steel hinges. Thank you for watching my video and for your comment!
@@randallwingett this door was meant to be a in swing door you can tell from the sill on the bottom, they would have an option for out-swing as well hope you guys were able to get this fixed before the rest of your project was done

@Damian Nico Instablaster =)
I refuse to hang out with spiders. That's what my apprentices and helpers are for haha.
Joe knows his stuff!
Would’ve ran 2x6 across top for header and jack studs . Someone could pop hinges off from outside and go on in . It’s installed backwards.
Lol
...and I was hoping to learn how to do something...not how not to do it.
Hinges on the outside?
No flashing?
Good video keep up with the good work

What about the rubber barrier you're supposed to put at the bottom? And the silicone on bottom?
Crybaby dudes so triggered when women do construction better than their hack jobs LoL
@@AA-zq1sx huh
Really miss the old pond build videos and the old homestead
What kind of glue did you use to the French door
Doors seemed to be installed inside out.
Yes, intentionally. Thank you for noticing!
What do you do about screen doors now that doors swing out?

@@randallwingett I would still want screen doors. And putting them on the inside is weird
@@ctn830 yeah the door was installed backwards, look the hinges are on the outside, if anyone wants to break in they just have to pop the hinges off.
Do you have a video of the drywall and trim work on the interior?
How long did this take?
I know some people like European doors, I suggest trying Dako.
No jack studs supporting that header either. Yikes.
Door is out-swing; hinges are not removable/secure; threshold is designed for out-swing doors.

Keep breathing all that insulation, makes immune to it

Outswing french doors exist
Maybe their neighborhood isn’t ghetto 😂
Joe needs safety glasses. And those French doors are backwards !? WTF ?
We requested French doors that open outwards to save space in our small house. They work exactly as we had expected!
@@randallwingett ok, but Joe still needs safety glasses !
Agree, Joe needs safety glasses. You'll shoot your eye out son. Also, Joe needs work gloves. :D
Door is installed backwards, crucial flashing steps were missing. I Guarantee this door leaks.

Using Ryobi tools hahaha
No flashing?
