This is the greatest wildlife video ever! No distracting commentary. Just the animals. I love how they clean and itch each other! Anyone who thinks animals don't have feelings should watch this... And the way the baby squeezes the mom like a ketchup bottle to try to get more milk is so cute! And the way the baby woke up the mom! He looked like a little kid jumping on his mom and startling her so she waves him off. And then the way the little babies start fighting with each other is hilarious. One didn't want to share so the other started pushing and yelling. Love the way these little beavers drag away these huge tree branches. So funny. Animal instincts don't change regardless of species. They really are very intelligent creatures.

Dear Germany. Thank you for donating some of your precious beavers to the UK. Beavers had been extinct for over 400 years but we needed beavers to help with rewilding the countryside and with the environment. So Germany (and Poland) donated beaver families to us to restart the population. It has been a huge success. Thank you Germany.

Great video. Too bad there is no mention how key 🦫 beavers’s work is for maintaining the environment, reducing erosion, increasing biodiversity, creating food chain and enabling water to enter the soil, hence mitigating droughts and benefiting to humans!

i want to know how loud they can do their vocalizations. today I was hearing a lot of pitiful sounding calls from about 200 yards away from a beaver dam. (don't know where their lodge is) Could it have been hungry baby beavers?

Tolles Video 👍, dass auf der Museumsinsel Biber leben war uns zwar bekannt aber so toll dokumentiert wurde das Leben und Aufwachsen kleiner Biber wahrscheinlich noch nie. Wie bist du so nahe an die Tiere ran gekommen?
Wie wurden die Aufnahmen unter Eis im Wasser gemacht? Hat die Biberfamilie nun den Bau verlassen?
Die Dreharbeiten fanden schon 2012 statt, für den Film Wildes München. Mit Tarnzelt kommt man ziemlich gut ran, weil sie Menschen gewohnt sind. Die Aufnahmen in der Burg kann man aber nur in einem Gehege machen. Ob momentan noch welche dort sind, weiß ich nicht, aber ein gutes Revier wird immer wieder besetzt.
