Mine already on brushless and longer playtime now with the stock 2s battery. Setup was 35A esc and 2845 brushless motor with the same number of pinion gear teeth. Truck is so agile now.
@@farmoboy83 i use the 2845 brushless motor on 2300kv. You just have to drill another hole for the mounting on the original plastic holder of the 540 brushed motor I did used the 3650 brushless motor..overkill since the size of the truck is not a standard 1/10 scale.
@@MCircuits but how did you know exactly where to drill? And if a mistake is done, it's possible to buy another plastic mounting piece? The combo from a 901a esc plus motor would be cheap and easy because we can keep same servo and controller
That old gps speed meter has taken a beating, I’m surprised it comes on after all those years. It’s been a good meter, I still use mine once in a while.
Don't throw away the old GPS reader yet! The wheels may have been more inflated this time due to the hot road and this may have led to less resistance and more speed!

I got mine from Banggood, there should be no issues to send to Perth at all, I buy a lot of Purchases from both Banggood and aliexpress and I always receive what I ordered

Do you think change to a slightly bigger tyre will improve handling when bashing ? What run time do u get on 2s and 3s ? Seems like there is no way to put a bigger capacity battery in it . I just ordered one . Not sure should I upgrade to brushless or just add fan to esc and motor for now . Looking forward to your upgrade for this truck .
Personally I think the tyres are big enough already for this truck, going any larger will stress out the motor and esc. Run times depend on how you drive it

Try look up HBX 2995 parts, I think they are the same truck just different body shells

No it shouldn't harm the battery as LVC is usually set at 3.7v per cell
