  • In this fly tying tutorial, Cheech ties the Drunk Drea Thin Mint. This streamer pattern is responsible for some pretty awesome days on the water. Marabou moves really well in water, so you can imagine how well this fly moves and how much it bothers fish to the point they have to eat it!

    The thin mint is my favorite bugger. I’ll be tying a lot of these up this week! Nice spey adaptation.

    Composite loops are so fun. FYI i think Jerry is now over at Aqua Flies (or repped by) and has his own line of rods now.

    just watched your swiss cdc multiclamp video and decided to comment here because i'm special I guess...anyway. could you make a "fly tying tips and techniques" series? just collections of how to make fly tying and fishing (faster knots?) tips, tricks and hacks. Like the dubbing loop with deer hair for a caddis wing idea. That sort of thing...

    27 materials and 27 minutes later. Gartside soft hackle streamer is 2 materials and takes 2 minutes to tie.
