One of the noisiest boardings I've experienced in my international flights. This isn't the worst yet, and I still love flying Thai Airways!
This vid features:
-Boarding Thai Airways' B747-400 aircraft
-Showing the 747's rear cabin and lavatory
-Noisy passengers during boarding
-Evening take off from Hong Kong's Chek Lap Kok airport
-Serving of inflight meals

chukkoi Those redcoated ladies at gate..are they handling agent or thai-personel? when I flew Lufthansa out of HKG the last time I visited this lovely city, 2008, Lufthansa had their staff at the gate...when I transited HKG some years earlier onboard a Thai flight enroute to Taipei..those red ladies appeared at the gate to give me transit boarding cards??

i love the way they greet you with "sawadee kha"....my firt experince with THAI was a flight from Sydney to Auckland...great service and very polite crew!
That crew posed on the camera was so cool and friendly :DDD I thought they were like strict of something you know hahahaha but hindi pala :Dd

in usa they never serve food , not on new york to los angeles a 6 hour flight or
a 10 hour flight new york to hawaii , the food for purchase is only chips
it is really bad. This short flight served a nice meal on a 2 hour flight.

Those Thai B744 s will soon be gone..they seem to have been degradated to Trunk service on the Busy HKG-BKK route..
we should get thai airlines to offer flights from new york to los angeles a 6 hour flight,
and new york to honolulu a 10 hour flight people would soon never take the
american airlines and the purchase food being chips if thai airlines started offering
service for the non stop long flights.

Poy Sian... the inhaler which you can buy almost everywhere in Bangkok. I bring lots of them to Manila.
the americn airlines are just so bad and awful, we need to replace them with
better airlines from other places
Which is your favourite plane of all the kinds you have flown?
Another great video, Papi! Seems like foreign airlines know how to treat people better than our domestic carriers here in the Unites States of America? In my 52 years here on earth, American airliners continue to decline in service and find more ways to get MORE $$$$ from you and treat people more like a number than a person. Delta Airlines no longer serves peanuts on planes because they are afraid of offending people with allergies. AND, Delta no longer awards Skymiles people with miles travelled, Instead starting in January of 2015, you will get POINTS for HOW much you spend on your travel. Meaning, the average traveller like me will take much longer to get awards compared with business travellers spending thousands of $$$$ a year!! Delta and other American carriers are catering more to the rich and elite people than those crammed in the Coach cabin of the plane. If I want to eat on Delta in Coach, I pay on average $15 USD for a snack tray, not including if I want to drink alcoholic beverages! Maybe I need to become a Filipino citizen and live happier in life than being treated like a number here in America? Our security here at airports in the USA are alot less friendly than your airports overseas! Blankets? Coach passengers here in the USA are lucky to get one after they are given out to the First Class cabin people!! America isn't what it used to be when I was born in 1962. Seems like we're going backwards and Russia is reverting back to the old Soviet Union with the take over of Crimea from Ukraine by Putin! XOXOXOX
Sad, after 911 things have greatly changed. US carriers were generous back then. Dont worry Nick, u can always retire here and set up your own resort in one of the islands here like what many American and European expats did. They wake up to the smell of sea breeze from crystalline waters, hahaha! Thank you for always watching my travel vids! Take care. :-)
That scene where the FA's were handing out blankets made me laugh so hard, it's like watching the trained dolphins at sea world getting their treats :lol:
Hahaha!!! I wasn't able to capture the first time the steward gave out the blankets... sobrang gulo! Naka tatlong balik na yata yung steward kasi ang kulit ng mga pasahero, hahaha! :-)

OMG That's such a commotion. I had a flight too with TG and Scoot and mostly Chinese PRC and HK SAR and unfortunately, they're like this talaga. As if they rule the world. :) And the drops.. that's eew hahaha.

7:36 Unfortunately, the FA may have thought that you were part of that large group. I agree about the food and I loved the 34" pitch on Thai's 744, which was fantastic when they used to fly them between SYD and AKL many years ago.
+Wanchai Essjai I guess so...! 😊 But later on the flight we got to talk to her and it was nice to see her smile. I know Thai cabin crew are friendly (even in my other videos). She even gave us 4 decks of Thai Airways playing cards during mid flight (as seen in the end credit photos of the vid). I love flying on Thai Airways, and would fly with them again! 😊😊😊

TG uses an A380 aircraft serving the BKK-HKG-BKK route... I dunno if it still does...

You said it, hahaha! Almost the entire flight they were like that. Some would rock their seats, tap on the in-seat monitors hoping it would change channels, etc. I sure had fun watching them. I got entertained, hahaha! :-)

No turbulence on this flight, that's why they were able to sleep and recharge, and got noisy once they woke up. If there was any turbulence, I bet they'd be cold and quiet as it'll scare the hell out of them, hahaha! :-)

Thank you Duke! Yes, I've been to Kai Tak before, lots of times aboard Cathay Pacific's Lockheed 1011 and B747-300 aircraft. CX had those green stripes on their planes that time. Anyway, i sure miss the airport- one of the most exciting approaches, passing close to the hills and seeing those checker boards up close! :-)
chukkoi Those Red-uniformed ladies, are they CX groundcrew or the handling agent or was CX the handling agent??..Have been to both Kaitak and Chep Lak Kok? and flewn there among other carriers Thai..first time though the people at t gate were Thai-employees, on Qatar airways out of HKG I saw no red ladies..they appeared as soon as one fly THAI out of HKG??

Thank you Julius! I record using an iPhone 5 but the quality deteriorates during editing as I only use a an old notebook with a crappy processor. I have to convert to WMV format so my notebook wont lag or hang. Dont worry, I'm saving up for a good PC and I can soon throw away my notebook like a frisbee! Thank you for watching! :-)
