This song is uniquely beautiful - it's practically its own genre - and the guitar playing on the original recording is gorgeous, but the fingerpicking here, oh my god: the trills and hammer-ons-and-offs and grace notes - whatever you call everything she's doing - it's just staggering.

I heard this song on a cassette many years ago when I was a child, I was always looking for this song, it was whispered in my mind, but I didn't know the name of the singer. I loved its melody and rhythm, I couldn't find it on the internet, until today I found out that Google has a unique system where you hum the song and the singer's name is found. I did it and it found the song! Sara Hickman Simply! I was very surprised, Your voice, your song is unique,thank you

Simply sweet and home again ... She recorded, The Reason We Have Christmas in the World ... in 2001, from my first short story, Lil Bit's Heart of Christmas. Sara's voice echoes Karen Carpenter's in my opinion. Faithful Heart is my other favorite by Sara Hickman
