    Also, if you bake these sample pieces you will make your own texture sheets and you'll get the reverse design when you press the baked piece on the clay. It will deboss instead of emboss. I found the coolest texture was actually a wiry candle holder and I pressed a ball chain between the wires for a really cool effect. And my latest discovery is that the arm of my desk chair has quite a nice texture!

    I love your DIY techniques. I sometimes use egg shells emboss to create that crack effect for stone like jwelery

    Is there a term for the large blade you are using to lift the clay from the desktop? What is it called?

      Unfortunately Polymer Clay requires baking to cure. I’m not sure another method would work.

      You can use air dry clay instead

      You can always use a toaster oven. 🙂
