Reconnaissance improvised UAV: Ukrainian drone ‘Sirko’ ready for combat flights

- It is difficult to see and almost impossible to hear: the new #development of the #Ukrainians - the Sirko #drone for aerial #reconnaissance is ready for #combat missions. To help the #ArmedForces of #Ukraine to find the enemy from the air, the inventors joined forces of designers and engineers from #Kharkiv, Lviv, Kyiv and Dnipro. It took a year of work - and now the company is preparing to launch mass production, producing up to 200 drones per day. More details - in our report.

Add a remote destruct mechanism so if the drone falls into enemy hands they'll be 'destructed' as well.
How can he compare them to the Mavic drones? That excellent drone they have created is fixed wing so it requires forward movement through the air to stay aloft. The Mavic drones are rotary wing devices so can stop all horizonal and vertical movement and hover in place. They are two quite different but complimentary drones.

This is great news. I would imagine the cost of the drones will come down as they ramp up production. But man, planes with the motor / propeller in the rear are so much LOUDER than planes with the motor in the front, I suspect that even the under-prepared Russians are going to find it rather easy to at least spot them.

Many drone attacked by many birds in normal life,for example : eagle. Ukrainian can train eagle to save sky ? Why not ? 💙💛
There are thousands and thousands of drone being used by the #russianBarbaric aggressors and the illegally attacked Ukrainians in this war. That would mean you need several hundred eagles as drone hunters and these trained bird can be removed from the battle field much like the drones with a single bullet. A drone can be replace a hell of a lot faster than an "attack" eagle can be trained.

i think they should build a bunch of card board or some other cheap material drones that do nothing but fly low enough to be seen till they run out of power or fuel or get shot down just to harass the russian rabble have them running for cover or launching missiles at them could be just for harassment or to have them giveaway positions recon drones can be looking for doesn't even have to be controlled just launch it in the general direction of the russian rabble and see what they do
These drones will be shot by Ukrainians in Kyiv as in the same way Ukrainian Bayraktar was shot a couple of days ago.
