Be Here Now was such a powerful part of my spiritual life as a teenager in the early 70's ✨️ so beautiful and a journey inside. In highschool I was in an alternative program and we gathered one day to meet Ram Dass. We sat with closed eyes a few minutes then, all of a sudden, there was his voice! So great, a blessing. Years later heard him speak at this beautiful Scottish Right Temple in Oakland CA. "Hello Ram Dass so great to see you again!" Again years later heard him in Marin. Afterwards I was outside and saw him get into a Volkswagen and our eyes met as they pulled away- being and awareness recognizing and seeing itself (!) All gratitude 🙏 beloved one, thanks for your love, wisdom and friendship. 🕉 On this earthly 🌎 journey. Then to the stars 🌟 ✨️ 🎶 🌟

Im so sad right now, that im envious of how Ram Dass lived out his Dharma in such beautiful way, and i (have been called to a similar path) am in HELL. And i still love him but what hurts me is all the people i could have helped and that could have turned to the divine or simply stopped suffering because of my acts and words, not to spk only on my own 'salvation' if you will.. Seek god, see god, release your attachments and dont ever sell your soul like i did unconsciously, it can cost more that you can imagine, its like going backwards and everything gets so hard, even if is a small thing, choose spirit over worldly and body pleasure.. Otherwise its not fucking worth it, really. Peace yall thx for reading
@@GaryLee123 Yea, i know what you talk about, ive been through that, but once in heaven or in conscious living one does not expect to get back to the old ways again and lose the thing.. im in a hell realm and just want to make it to the upcoming new world.. thats why im uneasy most of all.. anyway thank you for your words
I relate to this more than I wish to admit - betraying your truth and spirit is a painful reckoning but had we truly known better we’d have done better. All that actually, truly matters is how we live NoW and that has to include self compassion - or we can’t help anyone.

This comment is to peacefully protest the gatekeeping of RD’s lectures. Common complaints as elucidated from the community on the Ram Dass subreddit are as follows. Removal of content, privatizing/licensing out content, copyright striking others who post content without replacing what was removed or providing another means to access the content. Restriction of what is released, cutting and editing pieces of full lectures and not releasing the full lectures themselves. Putting a paywall in place that provides access to still limited content. Access to content is overall severely limited compared to just a year or two ago.

Sometimes you gotta get through Hell to get to Heaven. Or maybe another way to say it, the Darkness is there to hold space for the Light.
