It is not so much as belief as it is not wanting to obey or submit. Satan believes in God ,He just wants to do what he wants to do which is rebel. And he has many children.
This is so true. Many, many people don't want moral accountability. They are citizens of Babylon, and sadly, many will die in their iniquity. As believers, we all want to see as many souls saved as possible, but our job is to be ambassadors for Christ. We can sow seeds, but we can't make them grow.

I heard one atheist (I don't remember which one) say that even if God appeared to him, 600 feet tall and say "here I am, believe in me," he'd just pass it off as a hallucination. There is no amount of evidence you can show someone who refuses to believe any evidence whatsoever, and they'll just say, "you don't have any 'real' evidence."
You are correct! Those (99% of the world and 100% of the church) who dont believe dont because God has blinded them. They have zero ability to believe, they are spiritually dead and blind. The dead cannot believe. It is only the living (the few who Jesus came to save that have been made spiritually alive) that can believe.
We need only go back to the Hebrews in the days of Moses. The plagues God brought upon Egypt, the column of smoke by day and fire by night, manna that fell from heaven, the parting of the Red Sea....all that and yet He had 23k killed at Horeb because of their rejection of Him. It's not the lack of proof...it's the lack of desire, love and commitment to the Almighty that causes man to reject God.
Atheist ask two questions like who created God and why doesn't God heal amputees?
Well God is infinite. We're not going to understand his existence with our brain. Besides the evidence of Jesus raising from the dead is 1) God knew that ahead of time (which is mind blowing.) 2) many people witnessed it 3) the shroud of turin I could go on and on.
Don't get me wrong the mind is powerful but I believe that God can and does allow limbs to regrow from being amputated. I believe that if I was in a mid-air collision on a plane and God says you're gonna survive wiwith no injuries then I'm gonna survive with no injuries. Some of my friends say that I have "reckless" faith.Well only because God gave me that gift. Every time that the enemy tries to steal my faith the more I'm putting it into God.

- Why doesn't God heal amputees?
Answer: Same reason why he doesn't walk through hospitals healing everybody in bed, same reason why he's not healing everybody with the seasonal flu, same reason why.... . [It doesn't glorify him as much as it does when you come to him in faith, when you love him without seeing him, and you give up your life to obey him.]

The thing I find most amazing is that God eagerly desires to reveal himself to those who earnestly seek him, and has indeed done so to everyone who is being saved. The biggest barrier to that “big reveal” is our doubt and unbelief.
Sorry, you are wrong. There is NO ONE who seeks God! The very, very, few who are saved are only saved because God/Jesus sought them out. Those who actually seek God (Biblical truth) only do so AFTER God has already saved them.
Also, understand there are NO Christians in anything called the church/Christianity.
@@LuciferisJesus-mv9hp I can say with all honesty that I was looking for Jesus when the Holy Spirit came in power. I even asked him to reveal himself to me if he was God. Yes there was a certain amount of wooing and a tug of my heart towards him several years before this happened so in that regard you are correct in that I felt “called”. The bible even tells us in Matthew 22:14 that “many are called but few are chosen”.
So you see it is still possible for us to reject the upward call of Jesus Christ, as Gods law of love will never impose on our free will to make that choice. If I had rejected Jesus’ invitation into the kingdom of heaven, then I would not have been baptised with the Holy Spirit, and thus not have been saved.

Matt, would you by chance have a video about why bad things happen to good people, or why God allows abuse? I had someone tell me yesterday that they stopped believing in God. This is someone I've known my whole life and love. I tried every angle and he shot me down every time. The horrible things he said about God. 💔 I'm sure it stems from deep rooted hurt about abuse and mistreatment he's endured. I left his house and burst into tears. 😭 Drove home crying. 😭

@@kyle--859 No, not in a pantheon of greek god's, although I'd wonder what/who Zeus was. To get his identity, I'd have to see and hear more from him and see if there are any historical sources to explain his appearance. Might even ask around to see if other people have this occurance.
Well said Matt, you're right. People will believe in all sorts of rubbish and falsehoods, but they refuse to believe in the Truth. God is the Truth. Jesus is the Truth. The Holy Spirit is the Truth. But do peoples want to follow and believe in the Truth? Of course not! As for me, I'll follow Jesus and believe in the Truth.

But for non-believers that does not follow. The christian god is a good god. So even if a god showed himself he exists, that would not mean this automatically is the christian god and worthy of worship.
I personally do not see how a good god could create a universe like ours. So if a god would show himself, i would believe he exists, but i would not believe he is the christian god and thus would not become a christian.

The evidence of the resurrection is definitive and unequivocal. It is a fact of history. There are many videos and resources proving this. Your claim that the evidence is not good enough is not supported by evidence.
Evidence doesn’t have to be to the standard of the satisfaction of everyone for it to be objectively sufficient. Silly claim. Many reject clear facts today, simply because they don’t want to believe them.

Don't remember the verse where Jesus said He was leaving the Holy Spirit as a 'helper', He was speaking to His disciples. The elect are called, I am saved, and my brother rejects any idea of God joined a Satanic church in 1969 in San Francisco and is an athiest. He is prosperous and enjoys a upper middle class lifestyle and cruises and travels.
We had similar upbringings, education and the same home and parents.
I have to believe God has some influence on election, remember Jesus spoke in parables lest some would hear and believe? I don't want to be smug and arrogant about my own salvation but it wouldn't matter to some people if God appeared tomorrow because they are not called.
You are correct, however, God does not have some influence on election, he has 100% influence/control. God chooses who he wants to save. No human has any say in it. God created a few people to become saved, and the other 99% of the world were created as vessels of wrath, and brute beasts made to be destroyed. This is what the Bible clearly teaches.
Salvation is not an intellectual , pride or moral decision, we can't as humans decide on salvation on our own terms and timing.
If Aldolph Hitler had the ability to decide on his own salvation and timing he could have waited for the last minute before pulling the trigger and TOLD God he was going to be saved now and we'd be meeting him in heaven.
It is CALLING and ElECTION not us using our own mental resources.
