Can you describe the problem that you were experiencing with the blower functions before you replaced the module?
Did the blower motor kick on sometimes but not always respond to the controls properly? Did the blower motor not turn on at all? Could you bang on the dash and make it work sometimes as other people have reported? Any information would be extremely helpful. Thank You!

In our case we had no operation at all. After checking that the switch was working .Then the blower itself( by putting a hot lead to the unit directly) we determined the module was the culprit. What you are describing is a blower motor in its final days. When a blower motor is almost finished it can go on and off by hitting the dash or even a bump in the road can activate it. The only option in your case is a new blower motor- an easy fix!! Good Luck!

I just changed a blower motor in my 2005 cadillac deville dhs. I can hear the blower motor working but it isn't blowing any hot air through the vents. But in the rear Its blowing somewhat hot air. Also when I change it to defrost the blower motor stops. What do you think the problem is? I would really appreciate any advice thank you.

Sounds like it could be a damper issue. They are the little doors that direct air to the floor, vents, defrost etc.. They are controlled by an electric motor and they do fail. It involves removing the dash in most cases. Certainly not a job you would want to hire out. The labor is very high. If you can fix it yourself - that is the best option. Good luck and thanks for watching!

I have a question: my 2003 deville is blowing 0 air from the front, rear, and even defrosters. Is this a blower motor control module issue?

There are electronic dampers which direct the air. These are controlled by little electric motors. With time they stop working. Our own DeVille is not blowing a/c through the dash vents at all- only the defrost and floor. Even though we are asking for dash vents. It is a common problem and often can be associated with a distinctive clicking noise. This is not always present but sounds like you have a similar issue. I was told to pull the dash to repair. In my case- I just have not had time. If I do it/ I will be sure to video the steps. Hope yours works out. Thank you for watching!

We own a 1990 Cadillac Sedan Deville and today the fan wouldn't shut off on the AC/Heater, even tho we shut the car off at the ignition switch, What would cause this to happen and how would a person go about repairing it? The Temp will change, with the Warmer/Colder buttons, goes from heat to AC OK, but the fan won't shut off.

Sounds like a relay might be stuck. Your best thing is to invest in a good shop manual. Electronic Climate Control Systems do not age well. Good luck !

@@Cadillacguy100 I think you may have been right. But after we removed the fan, cleaned out the insulation that our local mice friends thought we needed in the squirrel cage, it has functioned correctly. I do think it stuck, and after cooling off completely, it worked like it should. Thanks for the help!!!!

On my 2003 Cadillac Seville, my blower came sometimes, I bought a new blower and a new module. And it still don't work. What could be the problem

First see if it comes on intermittently or not at all. If it is completely dead check for a blown fuse or bad ground. It it works only part time check the switch on the dash and for broken or loose wires and connections. Good Luck!

Find where the ground circuit is and fuse for power supply to a/c module. Make sure all connections are tight and squeeky clean especially the ground.
