In the Philippines, Starbucks stay open until like 10pm and some even 1am (pre covid)...loads of people order around 7:30pm (after work)...(baristas work in shifts)... so cool!!

The only reason I don't like big orders right before closing are my co workers whining about it. In my opinion, which none of them share, every shop should offer anything they have as long as it can be done within opening hours. I mean that's what opening hours are there for?? I bet you couldn't make them happy even if we changed to closing half an hour earlier. They would still complain when costumers order right before closing.

We just don’t add the coffee and we use a different base syrup for our creme fraps. Also the double chocolate chip frap can be ordered as a java chip frap. It’s the same thing only the java chip does have the coffee. ALSO, You said you were dairy sensitive, we do have three alternative mills and we can make any frap with those alternative milk as well.

Somebody ordered dead ass 7 drinks last night on the mobile order (mostly blended) and then pull up to the drive through 2 minutes later and was upset that we didn’t have their drinks waiting for them.

Oh yeah. And people having fits if you turn them away. The other day a lady pulled up with 5 kids and her husband as I was getting the other customers to leave. I hadn't shut off the open sign but almost everything was clean and empty so I had to turn them away. Lady had a fit because she got all these young kids out of the car, like it was my fault.
I worked at a popsicle place and would turn people away in the morning before we were open, and after closing. I once had a line almost out the door at 8:55 (close at 9) and knew I couldn't say "it's 9pm now, we're closed sorry" and turn a ton of people away. So I had to stay open almost 30 minutes past close (on the worst night to close). I was not a happy camper.
Yah there's no secret menu in the UK, if the barista has the ingredients and knows what you're talking about, they might give it a go. But also if you just look into what goes in each one, you can just say the customisations because most of us in the UK don't know the secret menu because it doesn't exist here!

I'm so hurt because 1. I am a Starbucks barista in SoCal and 2. Chestnut parline is my favorite but we ran out of syrup because it's seasonal (I would get it in a hot Americano with a splash of heavy cream) and 3. The toasted white mocha is so good hot with coconut milk . ALSO! THE SALTED CARMEL COLD FOAM COLD BREW IS BETTER THAN CASCARA. Way sweeter and yummier BTW I love your tik Toks you're amazing !

We have a lot of non dairy options, for frappes I recommend almond milk because soy can be toooo sweet but if you like it that’s cool too, and for lattes soy is really good because it’s thick or coconut milk.
Not a Starbies Barista, but a dairy allergic person, you can get pretty much any drink, even the fraps, with their dairy alternatives, which now includes oatmilk in most places!!!
Also for anyone checking the comments, any frappuccino or flavored latte can be made without coffee. For fraps, its a creme frap. For “lattes” it’s usually called a steamer (just steamed milk + syrup). Except the java chip bc that is literally just the double choco chip creme frap with coffee added (hence - java). Also the pink drink and all refreshers are caffeinated :) too many people don’t know that
For an upcharge, you can sub out that awful frap roast (instant coffee) for espresso. Try a cascara frappuccino with blonde espresso. A lot more subtle then something as upfront as mocha, admittedly, but the flavor is on point.
personally im not a Starbucks guy, i hate anything with syrups. sweet just isnt my thing, but there isnt anything wrong with Starbucks,especially you like like sweet milk drinks with fancy random flavored syrups. Starbucks is perfect for that. plus starbucks is what got alot of us into coffee, its great for beginners because nobody is gonna start on black strong espresso. you work your way up to that.
As a Starbucks barista trainer and soon to be shift supervisor, i think this video is so cute! If you ever want to try a slightly sweeter version of the nitro cold brew order it with an almond milk and honey cold foam! One of my personal favorites :)
Im a bux barista. Next time you should try out lattes. I recommend the Blonde honey almond flat white, chestnut praline latte and the iced caramels cloud macchiato!
If you want a frappe with coffee in it, I recommend my ma's usual, a vanilla bean creme frappe with an affogato shot on top. Make sure the affogato is poured above first before they put the whipped cream on. If you get a venti size, make sure to ask for two shots.
ex-starbie here Nitro should be drank as soooooon as possible. The bubbles leak out and the drink dies like espresso! And yeah half your drinks are coffee-less lmao And the cascara is much more meh compared to the salted cream, but I subbed the caramel for vanilla And yeah a barista will look at you funny if you ask for a cup of whipped cream with the caramel crunch topping. Mostly because we can't charge you. Hold up $2 and put it in the tip jar and we probably would have been like "hell yeah" Chestnut Praline is the most hit or miss. I don't like it. Toasted white is eh. It's just white mocha but worse
Frap recipe: You'll need xanthan gum. Make a simple syrup with it. Blend ice, milk, solo espresso, syrup and flavor. Babish did an episode if you want more accurate measurements. Starbucks uses an instant coffee concentrate, but w/e. I hate frap roast anyway. Espresso does make them smell like feet, though
If you like blended drinks try the blended strawberry lemonade. NOT strawberry acai blended. Its strawberry puree and lemonade blended with ice and creme/coffee base and then get 1/2 pumps of raspberry syrup in it
Creme frap was prolly the worst option to taste the chestnut praline😂 That one is my favorite holiday syrup that we get and the best way to drink it in my opinion is as a hot latte with blonde espresso. You could also add a little toffee nut syrup with it or white mocha sauce and it's delicious.
for anyone who wants to know - you most for sure can order whipped cream with crunchies! it costs like $0.60-0.80 depending per topping you add (so crunchies and caramel drizzle would be $1.20-1.60!)
Amanda McRoberts we still have chestnut praline in Florida only because it wasn’t as popular. we no longer carry any of the toppings either. It depends on how much is ordered by the store by demand. Even though it’s discontinued we have to use it til we run out
I love their whip cream! I usually order and then ask for a size up cup and have them fill it up with whip cream. I, also, love to mix the extra whipcream into the drink. My drink of choice: Grande Green Tea Frap without sweetener extra matcha in a Venti cup with extra whip cream. This is my indulgence choice.
At my parents' home my family loves whipped cream so we put it on our coffee a lot instead of half and half. And it's not just a little, it's a mound. 😂 BTW, you can get the whipped cream container with chargers online. It's kind of expensive but all you need is that as well as whipping cream and it comes out delicious.
Most starbucks close at like 9:30-10 at least where I live! My favorite drink has to be a nitro cold brew with sweet cream but double blended. A customer of mine ordered it awhile back and it’s been my go to for like a week now! Another one of my favorites is a nitro cold brew with white chocolate mocha foam. It doesn’t rlly foam that well but it’s so fucking good rlly creamy.
Salty caramel is my favorite. Though, i also enjoy the nitro cold brew. And i guess i like vanilla lattes as well but i don't think they're actually on the menu. You know, at this point they really should be. Standardization of drinks is important. And when i get a vanilla latte that tastes different? For real? Ew.
Cafe Diner you can order any latte and add whatever sweetener syrup you prefer! we just have one button that says latte on screen. by Starbucks standard, a hot grande normally comes with four pumps, iced is always one extra pump. However Starbucks stays in business by promoting specialty beverages throughout each season
The chestnut praline tastes so good as a latte. It’s not as tasty in a frap. You need to try it again as a coffee (hot or iced) when it comes back in the winter. It’s my favorite drink they have 😭

I like texture in treats a lot too and there's this Haagen Daz flavor called caramel cone that's caramel ice cream with caramel and crunchy chocolate-covered waffle bits and it's crunchy and sweet and I love it so you might want to try it :)
Jsyk you can do things like get certain toppings on whatever drinks (although that will add a charge) and get extra of some toppings (which won't add a charge if it already has the topping)

I worked at 2 smaller coffee shops, then worked at 2 Starbucks locations (Orlando, FL and Montgomery County, PA) I found much of the business practices to be very similar.
Notes for future!! All starbucks fraps use whole milk, but you can change the milk on all of them!! Just try to warn them if you want whip also!! :D also awesome to you for trying so many !!
Ive never been a fan of them blended shinanegans! You should do a video on Reserve coffee. Over the clover is always the best! Sample different blends, describe them and find your fave! Also do a vid on them lattes! Honey flat white, caramel cloud macchiato, blonde latte to a regular one. Starbucks has loads to offer! Not just ice sugar and milk lol you can truly go from a sweet tooth just want a pastry in a cup or you can explore different coffees and truly appreciate the beauty of the bean water from around the world. (Sbux coffee master here, don’t yell at me for not knowing how to spell FRAPPYCCCCCINOZZ)

We have a lot of non dairy options, for frappes I recommend almond milk because soy can be toooo sweet but if you like it that’s cool too, and for lattes soy is really good because it’s thick or coconut milk.
I have no idea what the coffee place looks like but her energy alone (and maybe the lighting) makes it look real cozy and comfortable
Not a Starbies Barista, but a dairy allergic person, you can get pretty much any drink, even the fraps, with their dairy alternatives, which now includes oatmilk in most places!!!

Also for anyone checking the comments, any frappuccino or flavored latte can be made without coffee. For fraps, its a creme frap. For “lattes” it’s usually called a steamer (just steamed milk + syrup). Except the java chip bc that is literally just the double choco chip creme frap with coffee added (hence - java). Also the pink drink and all refreshers are caffeinated :) too many people don’t know that

I work at Starbucks and I quite often make myself a small cup of whipped cream with just the dark caramel sauce and a ton of caramel crunchies😂
For an upcharge, you can sub out that awful frap roast (instant coffee) for espresso. Try a cascara frappuccino with blonde espresso. A lot more subtle then something as upfront as mocha, admittedly, but the flavor is on point.

personally im not a Starbucks guy, i hate anything with syrups. sweet just isnt my thing, but there isnt anything wrong with Starbucks,especially you like like sweet milk drinks with fancy random flavored syrups. Starbucks is perfect for that. plus starbucks is what got alot of us into coffee, its great for beginners because nobody is gonna start on black strong espresso. you work your way up to that.
As a Starbucks barista trainer and soon to be shift supervisor, i think this video is so cute! If you ever want to try a slightly sweeter version of the nitro cold brew order it with an almond milk and honey cold foam! One of my personal favorites :)
Im a bux barista. Next time you should try out lattes. I recommend the Blonde honey almond flat white, chestnut praline latte and the iced caramels cloud macchiato!

If you want a frappe with coffee in it, I recommend my ma's usual, a vanilla bean creme frappe with an affogato shot on top. Make sure the affogato is poured above first before they put the whipped cream on. If you get a venti size, make sure to ask for two shots.

The best Starbucks drink I've ever gotten was the caramelized honey latte/frappucino. It was limited-time drink for Spring 2016 and I miss it so much.

Frap recipe: You'll need xanthan gum. Make a simple syrup with it.
Blend ice, milk, solo espresso, syrup and flavor. Babish did an episode if you want more accurate measurements.
Starbucks uses an instant coffee concentrate, but w/e. I hate frap roast anyway. Espresso does make them smell like feet, though

If you like blended drinks try the blended strawberry lemonade. NOT strawberry acai blended. Its strawberry puree and lemonade blended with ice and creme/coffee base and then get 1/2 pumps of raspberry syrup in it

Creme frap was prolly the worst option to taste the chestnut praline😂 That one is my favorite holiday syrup that we get and the best way to drink it in my opinion is as a hot latte with blonde espresso. You could also add a little toffee nut syrup with it or white mocha sauce and it's delicious.
for anyone who wants to know - you most for sure can order whipped cream with crunchies! it costs like $0.60-0.80 depending per topping you add (so crunchies and caramel drizzle would be $1.20-1.60!)

Amanda McRoberts we still have chestnut praline in Florida only because it wasn’t as popular. we no longer carry any of the toppings either. It depends on how much is ordered by the store by demand. Even though it’s discontinued we have to use it til we run out

I love their whip cream! I usually order and then ask for a size up cup and have them fill it up with whip cream. I, also, love to mix the extra whipcream into the drink. My drink of choice: Grande Green Tea Frap without sweetener extra matcha in a Venti cup with extra whip cream. This is my indulgence choice.
At my parents' home my family loves whipped cream so we put it on our coffee a lot instead of half and half. And it's not just a little, it's a mound. 😂
BTW, you can get the whipped cream container with chargers online. It's kind of expensive but all you need is that as well as whipping cream and it comes out delicious.

Most starbucks close at like 9:30-10 at least where I live! My favorite drink has to be a nitro cold brew with sweet cream but double blended. A customer of mine ordered it awhile back and it’s been my go to for like a week now! Another one of my favorites is a nitro cold brew with white chocolate mocha foam. It doesn’t rlly foam that well but it’s so fucking good rlly creamy.

Salty caramel is my favorite. Though, i also enjoy the nitro cold brew. And i guess i like vanilla lattes as well but i don't think they're actually on the menu. You know, at this point they really should be. Standardization of drinks is important. And when i get a vanilla latte that tastes different? For real? Ew.
Cafe Diner you can order any latte and add whatever sweetener syrup you prefer! we just have one button that says latte on screen. by Starbucks standard, a hot grande normally comes with four pumps, iced is always one extra pump. However Starbucks stays in business by promoting specialty beverages throughout each season
The chestnut praline tastes so good as a latte. It’s not as tasty in a frap. You need to try it again as a coffee (hot or iced) when it comes back in the winter. It’s my favorite drink they have 😭

I like texture in treats a lot too and there's this Haagen Daz flavor called caramel cone that's caramel ice cream with caramel and crunchy chocolate-covered waffle bits and it's crunchy and sweet and I love it so you might want to try it :)

those baristas that suggested the CASCARA cold foam over the SALTED CREAM COLD FROAM did you soooooo dirty. they were lowkey salty about the frappuccinos cuz i wouldn’t suggest that drink to my worst enemy. especially when the salted cream one you originally wanted is so damn good! especially for someone with a sweet tooth! i’m gonna go angrily sulk in my starbucks barista corner lol

I worked at 2 smaller coffee shops, then worked at 2 Starbucks locations (Orlando, FL and Montgomery County, PA) I found much of the business practices to be very similar.

Ive never been a fan of them blended shinanegans! You should do a video on Reserve coffee. Over the clover is always the best! Sample different blends, describe them and find your fave! Also do a vid on them lattes! Honey flat white, caramel cloud macchiato, blonde latte to a regular one. Starbucks has loads to offer! Not just ice sugar and milk lol you can truly go from a sweet tooth just want a pastry in a cup or you can explore different coffees and truly appreciate the beauty of the bean water from around the world. (Sbux coffee master here, don’t yell at me for not knowing how to spell FRAPPYCCCCCINOZZ)
Chestnut is almost always sugared at least in Europe and in cans here. Maron glasse is the French name. Which means sugar chestnuts.
