Calico is great. Makes for a great thanksgiving weekend spot, not too crowded.

That place is so cool, I remember as a kid about 12 years old I went out there with my family. No pre runners, however we did Pan for gold and take a mine tour, it was so cool!!!

Calico is a super cool spot. The drive through arches are sketchy with a wide truck that's forsure lol

What's the purpose of being out in the middle on no where? All by yourself. It's where you find out who you are and what your made of. Nothing better than peace and quiet.

Stayed with my brother right up next to cave for a 1 nighter and the whole cave emptied with spiders at night was definitely some spooky shit.

You need to check out burro schmit tunnel and bickle camp. It’s up above dove springs in the El Paso mountains. Hang a right off of the 14 fwy on EP15/last chance canyon.

ThAT is Knott a ghost town well it is owned by Knott a guy with a Berry Farm near me. I have taken my Bronco there. Did Phillips Loopand camped in front of a small mine. There was a arch thing there but not one you could drive through. A cool place to target shoot from and a fire pit just had to go up a short steep incline to it.I did not need 4wheel drive much but have ockers in the rear too. I was surprised to cruise slowly through Mengal Pass over 2-3foot rocks into Striped Butte Valley where it was hard to see if I was on the trail in spots for a good distance. Surprised when unloading our blow up matress and a little stuffwhen I went to unlock my manual hubs to find out they were not locked. I got through all the rocks in 2 wheel drive without having to retry over any rocks. Thanks to King Shocks and Brett King and Thanks to Brett for intro to thank Lance King at The MINT 400 Contingency in 2018. They still give me Permagrin off roading so smooth in control at a fast pace. And will never forget the smooth landing after the surprise air over a razer going up the big dune at Pismo! They can do it so well.I am very stoked to have them on my Bronco. I changed my front end to the96 putting glass fenders hood core supp=ort headlights I changed to HID and put HID with the same ballasts in some Hella fixtures I bought off CL with brighter bulbs. I plated and gusseted my beams and rebuilt my transfer case and some more .Still need to install my tailgates hsell and paint or wraP ITI had Desolate installsome Bedsides and put on better beakes and spindles the calapersbolt onvstherubber centered pins I had. Glad I was sold those fromthe greaT MAN THAT SOLD ME THE FRONT END from his part out. I LIKE IT alot more thanthe older body style front end. I also installed a F250 passenger side front axle with the bigger U joints. Yes a lot of work but cycled it in 4wd turning the wheels by hand while steering them left and right through full travel with no springs to be sure it all cleared by clearing any tight spots with the plating and Gusseting and redoing the radius arm to beam atachments top & bottomand adding a vertical beam attachment that is wielded them to the top and bottom andadinganotthernountto thebeams. It hasbeen through much harsher surprises andwhoops fast thanany thing on the Parker ST Patrick's Day Poker Run of 80 miles I used for a shakeddownthat the drivers side broke from. Genuine question, not trying to cause mayhem or anything. Why do prerunners not have more recovery gear? In all the videos I watch it seems like they hardly ever have anything but a jack? I understand the no 4x4 and such, but recovery boards and winches are easy? Just curious. Awesome video guys!!!! Another location added to mu bucket list!!!

I have a full recovery pack from superwinch in the 4runner and usually carry a come along electric portable winch just in case. Most guys have a decent amount of recovery gear on them as well.

Prerunners are meant for speed and cornering through ruff terrain. If you have gears and locker you’d be surprised what you can make it through or climb! Momentum is key!

Question I signed up for the ONX app is there a way for me to get the trails and sites you visited in Calico mapped out already? I am new to the app and have never been to Calico. I want a fun safe trip.

Those are the easiest trails out Mule canyon. You definitely brought the wrong rigs to that area. That area is best known for Odessa and Doran. Slow rock crawling.
