Been playing this for a couple weeks now. Definitely needs a bit of support but man when everything goes right it’s so good. Double Kings with Queen feels so good.
I don’t use red card very often but I think the best time to use it is after the opponent evolves into a stage 1 Pokemon off curve late in the game cause they have a good chance of having the stage 2 in hand at that point they were just waiting on the stage 1
I'm convinced there's a mod where your opponent can see your hand. I've had a few games where I was red carded when I only had a hand size of 1-2 where one is a key evolution. Either that or they're psychic.

The people who looked at the code (and displayed it) for the boster pack cards being predetermined once you buy the pack. They're psychic too for being able to magically decrypt this top secret info.
Predicting evolution is pretty easy. If your opponent just only started to evolve their basic pokemon after a few turn, there's a high chance that your opponent has the final evolution at hand. That's when you red card

People have confirmed by looking at the code that your booster picks are predetermined once the carosel pops up. I guess they used psychic decryption? you guys should try this energy eater deck ive been having decent luck with 2 mawile 2 magikarp 2 gyrados 2 pidgey 2 pidgeotto 2 pidgeot 2 research 2 misty 2 sabrina 2 pokeball steel + water energy if you can get mawile out early and get some good coin flips you can consistently keep the opponents energy low and the pidgeots and sabrinas help kill energy from benched pokemon. misty helps power up gyrados early and while the damage of the deck is overall low the opponent cant really do much if you get lucky enough to keep taking their energy!! by no means meta but definitely fun with a little luck :)
i did try a version with 2 spearow and fearow for full energy discard but i found that benched pokemon would still get plenty of energy with only sabrinas available
Someone said this deck needs something like a Rare Candy or a Great Ball to set up better. I have no idea what either one does since this is my first TCG.
@@beyzu1184 I should have phrased my initial comment better because there hasn't been an official translation from regular TCG to Pocket how these items would actually work. Like, a Full Heal would completely do away with status ailments here that already take a coin flip to inflict/cure while taking a spot in the deck-already so precious due to the limitation.

There's not. Opponent hand is all the same value client side, you can't datamine it, it's encrypted on server

I love this deck, but it's a rough deck to play with. Hard to build, hard to win. So I gave up and made a Weezing/Nidoking deck. It's much better.

2 kingler 2 greninja deck. Rest cards are the same usuals with 1 misty and 1 sabrina. Won all my badges with that
I just recently ran this deck exact same build which is crazy lol I do prefer Nidoking/weezing though lol

No matter how good your deck build is...all that matters in this game is luck and the way you draw the cards you need.
