Not in Metro Manila. Not even in nearby provinces. The prices and locations are ridiculous. The travel time is not worth it. If you want to really keep your housing expenses low, stick with renting while saving for bigger down payments and extra installment.
Watching numerous videos on buying properties, there are so many hidden charges involved that merely having the minimum down payment is not enough. You have to have hundreds of thousands of pesos extra in the bank to ensure you can comfortably move in.
