I have added another goal in my life and that is to live in Baguio for 2 to 3 years before settling abroad. I need to be in Baguio first to make me realize that being born in the Philippines isn't that bad before starting to wander the beauty of the world.
Living in many parts of the country isn't that bad, it depends on your mindset, money, and lifestyle. I've lived abroad and always thought Baguio, my hometown, is always better in some places I've lived for months and some years, because it fits my lifestyle and mindset of what living beautiful is.
I love your videos!! I’m an American with a Filipino best friend. I went on a trip with him to Baguio in February and fell in love with the city. so much so that I’ve decided to move there after I graduate college in May 2025. This gives me a perspective on the daily lives of Baguio citizens, and it’s everything I imagine. so excited!
Yay! I'm one of those people who asked you about your rent. Thank you so much for this! Tips on apartment hunting? planning to stay in Baguio for a month or two and your rent is such a steal considering its fully furnished with bills included already. ❤
12k for a small unit that’s almost near la trinidad is expensiveeeee, so dont consider the wifi and electricity to be free since you already paid for it. Electricity in baguio is a bit inexpensive compared to other provinces, so you paid for all the ulitilities included :))
I must say, your apartment is more of a usual transient house here in Baguio. Parang binayaran niya per day niya which usually sa type ng transient house niya ranging from 500- 600 per head. However, kung mas maghanap pa siya outside central business makakahanap siya ng better apartments,better view,quiet environment and more in tune with nature. Usually freshmen students from other places ang kumakagat ng ganyan na offer dito sa baguio since mas malapit sa SLU at UB. Pero eventually pag nasanay na siya sa commute and gamay na niya baguio, mas makakahanap pa siya ng mas mura and better view na aparments outside the central business district.
So nice you have a soace of your own. I studied in Baguio too but I lived in a dorm. My roomies were great, but sometimes you miss having your own space.
I used to live in a shared apartment in Baguio but I have my own room. If I remember correctly it's around 4k, bills included. Lately I’m watching lots of ‘moving to a different country’ vlogs since, at the start of May, I had a talk with my Scandinavian culture teacher and she is the first person to whom I’ve directly told I’m planning in 6-7 years (or more!) on moving to the northern-ish part of Sweden, in the same city a close friend of mine lives who I of course didn’t met in real life but on a social media, and I’m so thrilled and excited to do my first Scandinavian trips with my family and seeing the northern lights !!! (*´∀｀*)ノ commenting on this not only since it’s one I got recommended, but because I love the landscapes there and…that cafe is really similar to the one in a dream I had! It’s so surreal to actually see it in real life, and not so distant to the location it was there (the fake one I pictured it to be in China c:) Have a good day to whoever is reading this, and hope I made clear the discourses though the perceivable excitement in the comment :3 🌱🍓🍵

i know 🥹, living alone in Baguio can be pretty pricey, especially with the current rent rates. but im super thankful I have a supportive mom to help me out 😅☺️
Is it good to use a dehumidifier at night? Because when we took our vacation in Baguio the humidity is high in the room that we have occupied. It feels like taking a shower when going to bed😂.
hello ☺️i think dehumidifier can really be a big help when staying here in Baguio. Personally, i managed without one, but it might be worth considering for additional comfort 😅

I know 😅 I struggled too, almost every unit I checked ranges 18-20k+ 😊 But, I found this unit through Facebook groups. try looking for studio units a bit outside the town center-they're usually cheaper. Good luck with your search! ☺️
