Thank you!! I may be making some more content, but not any TFT stuff for a while. After 5 hours in the PBE on Saturday, I'm sitting out this season for sure.
I've tried Faerie 7 with Blasters a few times, and it has a strong early to mid game but ultimately falls late game to comps with very tanky frontlines such as Eldritch/Shapeshifter. I'll definitely try Frost/Shapeshifter next. Keep doing you bro!
I really wanted to make something like Faerie/Warrior work with Kat carry, but no matter what augments I put with it.. it wasn't going to happen. Faerie ended up feeling like one of those traits you can just toss into another build, but not rely on it.
I can't believe Mort left that comment in your video. But I also typed I'm there before it's gonna blow up :D I do love the theme of this set but not sure about the charms.
I've honestly liked the themes of most sets. I think they do fantastic art work, good music, fun themes.. my issue has been with how they have changed the gameplay. If they had kept the charms low impact, it would have been a really cute addition and many are, but when you run into a team with a dragon, you'll understand.
I hate giving answers like this.. but "it depends." The question in each round is do you have what you need and what are you chances of getting what you need and it is different for each build. For example, Frost is going to rely heavily on 3 costs, do you don't want to start really rolling down until you have a decent % chance of getting 3 costs. You don't get any interest in Hyper Roll, so you CAN roll down to 0 each round, but that is less money to roll down the next round when you may have better odds of hitting the units you want. With Blasters/Bastion, you NEED Varus to make it work, so I like to hold money until stage 8/9 when you get a better chance of hitting Varus 2, but if you NEED to fill in Bastions early you HAVE TO roll down to get them. So.. it depends. Hope that helps a little.
Whenever I do these, I try to come up with comps that will generally last (unless riot changes the underlying concept of the trait/class). People love chasing the "hot" build and often you can do great with the path of least resistance ;)
I recently started playing TFT, and Hyper Roll immediately got me hooked. Please never stop making vids! Subbed!
Just saw the update dropped and looked for your climb video. Perfect timing!
Hope it helps!
