Malajog Park and Resort is a short drive from Calbayog City in western Samar. We had a rented car for our trip, but there is plenty of public transport options available. You can grab a cab or trike for less than $10 from Calbayog.

This video reveals one of the favorite trips of our first vacation together! Leandra makes a great deal on a small cabana ($10), which we enjoyed for the whole day. It included parking. We grabbed some food and drink at a nearby Sari Sari (convenient store) for around $5 US.
Our snorkeling gear is an inexpensive $60 US set, with glass lenses for clarity and non-scratch durability. We saw a lot of fish, it was a beautiful day.
Our next trip, we'll stay at Malajog for a couple of nights. Rooms costs around $40-50 US, this resort is right on the ocean and is perfect for families.
