My poor mother gave birth to my big head (9.6 lb) naturally and ended up with a 4th degree vaginal tear into her perineum. She had blood transfusions from the severe blood loss as the forceps damaged her insides. She then went into a coma for 3 days, THEN stuck in a wheelchair for two months. 12 years later, she had a c section with my precious little sister (9.7lb) and she talks about it like it was a walk to the park. Her eyes gleamed when she talks about my sisters birth, while straight horror from my birth. There are women who have horror stories about c sections, but personally if you have a family history of big babies, then don’t be afraid to choose what’s best for yourself. -Big head
It’s such an intimate thing, a woman should 100% have the choice, unless there’s serious problems with the pregnancy which would make a natural birth very dangerous.
Dr Beski was my obs for my pregnancy at RLH and was brilliant at caring for me. I was referred due to a previous immune issue. My birth was natural but tbh I couldn't imagine wanting a elective c sec but I agree it's about choice.
If there's no choice for patients to choose the way to give birth, i would say a big "no" for babies lol 😂😂😂😂 Vaginal delivery can be obviously dangerous. Look at the risks they face after vaginal births. Prolapse, incontinence, vaginal wounds, rips and cuts and pain even after recovery and the main thing is, if you have a baby at the end, why suffering for days lol 😂😂😂. I'm not disrespecting anyone but, why even suffering. You need the a baby right? Tou don't need to suffer with pain and cuts down there huh? So, go for a c section easily. This is a good news.

There’s no shame in c sections. I had a good c section too. I hope this one turns out good too

End the cult of natural birth

Having a Midwife is not for everyone 🤦🏻♀️ nor a natural birth.
Would never do a natural birth

The sacrifice of birthing life is a privilege. Growing old is not for sissies!
