My home town of Bournemouth well described. I emigrated over 60 years ago, and have been back three times in recent years. It’s really still just as I remembered it, but the trolley buses have gone and like most places, the traffic is manic! However with good local public transport and good rail connections, it is still a great place to live, or just visit.
Now semi-retired and living in Picton, South Island, New Zealand.

I visited Bournemouth and Poole a few weeks ago unfortunately I ran out of time so I am going back for a overnight Vist in a few weeks time now we can stay in hotels for lesure again

Here’s a fun fact. Cities do not need to have a cathedral, it’s a myth. Outside the UK this was never the case and well I’m not British. This is why I also I looked up the pronunciation of boscombe, because I’m not local. It says it’s pronounced “boscum” on many websites 🤷🏽
