    This is amazing. I am a songwriter for film/TV living in Texas - this seems to allow me to collaborate with my publisher in LA, or work on songwriting with artists in Nashville and LA. Especially useful when going through mix notes when working with an artist that I’m mixing their music. It’s completely inspiring and game changing. I’ve struggled with OBS and VDO Ninja for months. Both free, but take my money for these options. What a wonderful channel you’ve developed. Cheers and Thanks from Texas, US 🙏

    I love Ecamm and was sad to leave because I just didn't like the Skype integration. I have since moved to a competitor and while it's good it's not Ecamm BUT, I feel that capping the interview time at 100 hours is a little shortsighted considering your competitors offer it unlimited on their pro levels. I almost came back but my twitch shows are 2 hrs a day. That 100 hrs would be eaten up in less than 3 months. Maybe it will change in the future.

      I’ve been watching videos here lately to start a video podcast that I would record then edit before posting, but I’m not sure which software to use. I see you said you left Ecamm for a competitor and I’m wondering which one? Ecamm has some features that I love, but what other options might be better?

    Great content as usual, Adrian! Would love to see you demo Host+Guest while screensharing a browser that is playing a TH-cam video (or some other video) - with audio that all can hear. I can’t seem to get this working without my guest sounding like he’s in an echo chamber. Sadly, enabling “echo cancellation” seems to drop the audio of the screen share from reaching the guest or final recording. Anyway, great content. Thank you!

    This is really good, and I'll definitely be subscribing this week to give it a try. However, as other people commented, the only thing that is missing is the possibility of having a waiting room where a the streaming assistant could talk to the guest before going live, so the guest is ready to go when the time comes.
    For example, imagine that I'm doing interviews back to back as a host of a show, so I'm currently live with a guest and the next one will connect while I'm on air. If the streaming assistant could talk to the next guest in the waiting room before putting him on air to talk to me, when the time comes the guest would be totally ready to go. It's reasonable to think that you would need to use a usb mic and the computer headphones output (or a small iScarlett) for the waiting room audio, and a Rødecaster Pro/other usb-connected mixer for the actual show. By leveraging scenes, we could instantly move the guest from one audio input/output to another and it would make for a great interview and streaming experience.

    This is such a great upgrade and will make production much easier and much more streamlined. I have one request and one question.
    My request: I would like the guests and myself to still be able to talk while a video is playing without the audience hearing us. The fact that guests can see the feed will help, but the audio helps in teeing up the guests when the video is about to end.
    My question: It's about the quality of the stream, one of the disadvantages of Skype is that you are powerless to adjust or control the video quality/resolution. Skype will oftentimes degrade the quality even when all participants have more than enough bandwidth and it's oftentimes slow to recover. Is the quality of the interview mode better than Skype and is there anything we can do to control the quality?
    Thanks!

    • @EcammLive
      @EcammLive 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the feedback, Juan! We appreciate it. Yes, our Interview Mode offers higher quality and more control than Skype :)

    • @joeschoenwetter4055
      @joeschoenwetter4055 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EcammLive If there was a way to separate the "green room" audio from the "broadcast" audio so you could control each separately that would be ideal. For example I act as "producer" on interviews quite often, where I don't actually appear on-screen at all and don't want my audio to be heard in the "broadcast" at all, but if I mute my own audio on the broadcast, then I can't communicate with the "host" or "guest" or anyone in the green room during the interview. Maybe there isn't much demand for this scenario, but I am continuing to use Skype for that reason, because I can mute my own audio in Ecamm so it doesn't come through the broadcast, but can still communicate with the host/guest in Skype if needed to cue them up during countdowns, videos, etc.,

    I played around with the new beta feature and was hugely excited to hear this. When playung around with it though, it had a massive delay on the guests end in the split screen. Yes, I think it is because that is the stream, fed back to my guest. The single image of my guest was fine, but that would not make sense to see yourself only in real time. Do you thin kecamm is going to give you the option to have a real live chat that is not delayed? Like in Zoom or Skype or similar?

    G'day mate. It was only quick but it appears the comment window on the guest end doesn't show the profile icons like it does at the host end. If this is so may I ask for that feature to be added as when teaching and learning seeing profile pictures help the teaching team engage more with the learners aka students.

    Hey Adrian! Great tutorial and energy as always, I remember I found you a while back with your Kajabi videos as well.
    2 quick questions regarding this one:
    1) How can you switch all those different views i.e. you small guest big, guest small you big, side by side etc without all the clicking and taking your eye of the guest etc? I just discovered stream deck and heard you mention it as well, I assume that might be one way to avoid all the click noises during an interview/conversation or can we also have someone else on our team have access to the controls so they can actually direct it while we're present on the interview?
    2) Is there a way to have separate audio tracks for us and the guests upon export? I know Zoom does that. When I started interviews on Zoom a few years ago, I had everything on one track, and the challenge is the most of the guests had a way different sound level than I did, and it really hurts the quality.
    Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks my friend!

    Hi Adrian. Do you have any suggestions for how badly the guest's audio echos on the live side? The echo cancellation is ONLY available for internal speakers. So, outside of us wearing headsets (NO - we're not gamers), the interview option is completely unusable. So disappointed that this one issue makes the whole lot garbage.

      Have you checked the saved file or are you basing this on the realtime view on your computer? If that's off then it could be a few things, your guest's set up, or your processor struggling. If it's the latter make sure to turn all non-essential apps off and try to free up the load on the processor. Hope that helps?
