So this helps get back your sound back basically since Xbox series s or new gens don’t have the optical right that’s the problem I’m going thru rn but since they don’t have optical plug like I said it doesn’t sound as loud I just bought the box you showed hopefully it helps with sounds

Depends on which codec you output from your ps5, if you use lossless, the splitter will reformat and you will perceive a slight loss in quality. If you use a spdiff/optical compatible codec, it will pass through and no quality loss will be perceived.
wait, why not connect it to the TV, instead of ps5. lol Much more simple connection. I mean, most TV have aux ports, optical and coaxial ports too. Heck, even USB and Bluetooth. This video is complicating things, but have it your way.

I used optical cable running from my tv to my Audio receiver.
exactly what I do. I always connect audio to my TV, be it auxiliary cable or an optical. It really is a no-brainer.

Yes but only way to get 120hz is by lowering your resolution to 1440p or 1080p and u should be good
