Beautiful IFR work in a nice equipped 172 Skyhawk with a Auto pilot which makes single engine pilot work load more reliable and safe

Beautiful panel. This is how Cessna should be selling the C172 new today. The G5s, GTN650 and GFC500 are perfect for the C172, and about 1/10 the cost of the G1000 that Cessna are selling in all C172s today. (The main reason for the bloated $390k price tag!).

It's more than just the panel but only Schools and Universities buy these new. 18 month wait. More like $475k now

Nice. What AP do you have ? I can’t see it. I was going with a TruTrak (owned now by Bendix king ) , but they wasted 6 months of my time waiting for them to ship it to my Avionics guy and I finally gave up. Decided on dual G5’s and a Garmin GFC 500.

GFC 500 is installed but this short flight was completely hand flown for flight training.
