@@OmgAlphaDog I mean not really. It feels so clunky to play, the Easter egg is tedious, no golden gate bridge, moving the afterlife into the shield system was probably the most stupidist thing they did to the map and when you add the BO4 system, of a moving pack a punch so the 5× upgrade is tedious, mediocre perks that don't help the map at all, the 1 grenade slot was pathetic and the hells retriever and redeemer was pathetic compared to wraith fire and acid bombs so to call it a great map is questionable
I feel like Voage could easily be fixed from being a close corner map. Just have pieces of the Iceberg merged with the ship and it would have added more space to walk through, plus the iceberg sections would have new existing layouts for the map.
personally I think bo4 should've been a just chaos storyline game, putting in the aether storyline felt like a way just to get people to play the zombies more and the mechanics of bo4 have always felt more right on the chaos maps to me.
Yeah I know people didn’t like chaos at first but I think it was kind of a shadows of evil situation where the community collectively agreed that it was the best part of bo4
If they had more time to flesh out Chaos with more maps, I think the story would have been very captivating. I remember when the end of Ancient Evil happened, people actually seemed roped in.
I honestly think that was the plan, but somewhere along the way they HAD to make the aether storyline. Maybe it was around Zombies chronicles? Maybe it was because people were disappointed with revelations? Honestly I wish the great war map came out, I honestly can't imagine what it'd be like. I honestly think Rev was supposed to be the end, but Blundell saw how disappointed everyone was, and Activision struck his plans for zombies in Bo4 in favor of focusing on Blackout. Just my opinion.
46:41 dude I agree this is the perfect balance for having loadout weapons. It should just be some side Easter egg that rewards you with a whatever loadout you want, which would still keep the natural progression of the game and would make the box useful again. 48:56 also the old point system is definitely the most satisfying, and it makes worse guns like smgs have some sort of reason to use over powerful weapons like shotguns.
Having a point system that can be easily exploited with bad guns doesn't exactly make it a compelling system. The fact that killing zombies too quickly in a game all about *killing zombies* is a *bad thing* then something is wrong. If bad weapons are an issue then the problem is that they are bad weapons, not because they don't have the old point system to make them useful
Having a system like the fridge from bo2 as a loadout locker would be an interesting implementation of the idea to get away from the trash new systems they’ve made
On the perk system: the best ideas were always having a way to get past the perk limit. Die rise with 100% accuracy against the jumping jacks, COTD with killing George, Buried with the witches and time bombs. Every map should have a perk limit and a way to get every other perk through a niche way. And then, there should be a way to upgrade them like we’ve seen in custom maps. 100 headshots for gold double tap, travel 5 miles for gold staminup, take 50 hits from zombies for gold jug etc. It doesn’t make sense to just have no perk limit and it makes no sense to upgrade out of the game
@JXneroHD it’s not what I was saying unfortunately. In vanguard, you just buy them 4 times with increased prices. What I’d like is to buy it and have a lengthy challenge to upgrade it which would make it much more useful or has a secondary ability.
Nah, I disagree. It gets old with time and only worked in these maps because the way to reacquire them wasn't that tedious and most of the perks weren't that good, so it's not like you were pressed to do it. The only exception is buried because despite having broken perks you had the time bomb+bank which is OP as hell, so it's really easy to do whatever you want. Take origins for example, you can get every perk you wish if you manage to find the empty bottles but it's so tedious and setup reliant that nobody wants to do it, especially in CO-OP. Usually I settle for 5 or 6 with the bonus double tap from the chest and it's enough. In Cold War I don't have to do anything besides managing my points and I think that's good. Depending on the map or the objective I pick my priority perks and later when I have points I can pick all the others without having to do weird shit every single time
to this day i stand by that BO4 is a GREAT zombies game, only bad thing is points system, but you really dont even notice. Then there where the bad launch, but bluescreen isnt a problem anymore.....
The thing about if zombies on the Titanic is insensitive isn’t really. It’s been over a hundred years since the Titanic sank. If it was zombies in the twin towers however…but that might happen in another eighty or so years.
I think BO4 Zombies is so underrated, a lot of a great maps and I've put so much time into it. I do agree that you need to be a hardcore zombie fan to really enjoy it(me). I love this game so much
@@hippohippo9344 that doesn't make sense. TH-camrs would like that there is so much content to cover. TH-camrs didnt like BO4 because it was worse than BO3 and didnt meet a single person's expectations (expectations that were set by the devs)
@@Pobsworth lex literally said it was too much content at launch for content creators because while you spend all of your time trying to figure out the Easter egg on IX the other maps have already been solved
I think the reason Primis is so iconic and amazing is because Ultimis came first we saw the 4 stereotypes staying who they are and not trying to change and only working together because it was forced where Primis is working together because they are actually trying to save the whole multiverse and we see them grow together. They actually change and do things to become better. Where all other crews in my OP don’t grow and change AT ALL which is why no one gives a fuck about them for the most part
And the Primis crew made some of the Ultimis characters BETTER through their storyline, like the interactions with Ultimis Takeo and Nikolai, although they were short they built the characters beyond their stereotypes.
While mostly true, you do actually see a lot of character development in Ancient Evil, Scarlett becomes more compassionate and Diego becomes more serious about the mission instead of his own glory.
@@zackhalilovic4753 That’s true Ancient Evil was very good for Chaos and if they would have continued that way it could have ended up being amazing so I will give credit to Ancient Evil. But the main reason it failed was because Aether wasn’t finished they tried to do to much all at once and all sides suffered heavily because of it
I get blundells thinking with the perk system tbh. If you think about it no one ever in the history of cod zombies has ever played a game and didnt get jug as one of their 4 perks if their playing seriously. Isnt that kinda boring. The main problem is how they just gave the player jug at the beginning. What i think should’ve happened is you start with 2 bars of health. When you turn on power you get a 3rd and when you unlock pack you get the 4th. Also just keep speed cola and double tap
The worst thing about BO4 and CW is the point system. Every gun was useful in WAW-BO3, with shotguns for damage and SMGs for points. In CW, there's no reason not to use a shotgun
Personally i liked the way you can choose what weapon to start with in bo4 more than cold war. It still made the box usefull because you could only start with some of the secondaries
Need to start with pistols again and no variety bs no common, rare, epic, legendary that’s what the mystery box is for you spin until you get a good gun otherwise the box is useless we need to start weak with pistols again
@@unitgamex2972nah the rarity is stupid just bring back double tap 2.0 And bring other perks that can boost damage on weapons like the custom perk where it makes bullets explosives
I didn’t mind black ops 4 zombies or the map remakes. Absolutely loved classified and blood was pretty good. Perk system was definitely different, but I got used to it and kinda liked speed cola being built in. My highest round game on normal was actually in black ops 4 on blood
@@HavingCrumpets it is the literal exact same with the exact same characters and every step exactly taken from BO2. So yeah it is most certainly an exact copy of MOTD but on BO3. I actually got my first custom map round 100 on MOTD lol. I couldn't do it in BO2 because it took 10 hours and I don't feel like playing 10 hours straight on the same map doing loops in the cafeteria. MOTD on BO3 is a fantastic Remaster and just how I imagine it would've been in Chronicles.
dead of the night was one of the only bo4 maps i liked and actually played a decent amount of. I could never do the ee solo because of the astrology step and me being bad, but i still enjoyed playing the map. the 3 stage wonder weapon was cool to use, the boss was unique, the mini bosses were unique, the map layout wasnt that bad, and there was a lot of stuff to do that wasnt all that complicated. I sometimes consider buying bo4 for pc, but then i remember its bo4
mob of the dead is so beloved, the ONLY FUCKING reason theyre not lived more than primis is because we had more maps and time with primis, if there was another map about the mob crew people would lose their goddamn minds
I think its impossible for zombies not to have a comeback, especially with kevin drew at the helm. But also the fact that the community is so big and theres sooo many players out there who are just silently waiting for another GOOD zombies era.
honestly what is zombies without the artists we had previously??? are the big suites behind black ops, tuned in to know what’s best for zombies/multiplayer????
The thing is lex is that bo3 multiplayer doesn’t even work anymore. I mean it probably hacked on pc and on console people can turn invisible and invincible.
Late to this but it's pretty funny the wonder weapons are put to one side for the helion salvo apart from like Ancient evil and Alpha omega, everything feels like the Helion is better and more useful than the Wonder weapon on each map.
They honestly should have released the maps one month at a time starting with blood of the dead! So they had more time to work on dead of the night so it could have been the first chaos map! So the story would have actually had a proper beginning middle and end.
In response to 19:11 and as someone who literally tried bo4 zombies first time ever today, I never hated the Titanic idea. But I also loved this book called Deck Z in HS. Give it a read if you haven't, still holds up
Bo4 in hindsight was actually really great when you just look at the maps. Maps like Ancient Evil, IX, Dead of the Night, and Tag are all really great maps in retrospective and I really wanna see them get Justice for how dirty all of the TH-camrs did all of those respective maps. I’m glad Bo4 is getting more recognition for how awesome it really was in places like Chrissm’s channel and the subreddit. I hope that positive energy spreads even more.
tag is not a good map imo. end of nikoli, takeo, richotfen, and dempsey happens on a map where you are doing a fetch quest as the tranzit crew, on a remake of one of the least lore relevant maps ever made. Idc about how it plays, but its a disgrace to the story to end it the way they did.
@@goodguyjoe456 L take imo wonder weapons in the map r wack, top new area (factories?) is barely utilized, same with spawn. aesthetics r sick tho i’ll give u that
@@jnogales Map design is actually phenomenal in Tag. The dynamite system, challenge system, layout and flow, progression, Heat pack system, and gameplay of the map are actually really stellar and I recommend Jr Rizzo’s review of the map as a more in-depth response. Also, I really do like the story of Tag. It’s conclusive, and ends things in a satisfying way for me. The end of zombies didn’t have to be a big and bombastic thing, I like the more subdued and character focused approach. I’ll admit the playable characters and wonder weapons aren’t good but I can get past that. The gameplay itself is great from a design standpoint.
What makes this sad for me is that Cod Zombies will never be Black Ops 3 levels of inspired, captivating, and fun ever again. Gorod Krovi is what got me back into zombies after not playing it much after Bo2 mob of the dead. I was never really into zombies much even before bo2 always preferring multiplayer. But when I seen a TH-cam video made my Vanoss gaming I seen dragons and mech suits and literal flying robots I thought hm that looks weird I’ll check it out. After playing gorod I played shadows of evil and was hooked. Becoming some of my favorite zombies maps of all time. Once bo4 was released I was pessimistic yet hopeful. Just to again be let down like how I was after completing the revelations Easter egg with my older cousin and some school friends. I played every zombies map after that learning the play style routes and set ups setting a goal for myself to make it to round 30 before trying the next map from bo1 to bo3. Some I gave up on after hearing multiple people say nuketown, five, and shino were some of the hardest maps of all time. Still even for those I set a goal for at least 20. I think back to the maps I loved like kino, moon, transit(for the crazy sh*t that me and my friends went through) mob, origins, shadows, and gorod. I find myself upset and annoyed that zombies may never be as interesting and fun ever again. Say “K” to the “I” to the “A” to the zombies we all once knew…
Seeing videos about Bo4 like this also make me depressed. But for everything it fucked up, i still love this game. Not only zombies, but multiplayer and blackout all gave a lot of fond memories, which is more than any of the games after it can say.
The only thing I liked about the BO4 perk system is the modifier cuz I love it that you can knife to round 100 because of the combo of electric cherry and ethereal razor, so like the cold war system but with the option with 1 modifier I would like
36:29 that's contradictory to the fact that we just established everyone runs the "Meta" perks so no one is changing their perk layout when they go down.
I would go as far to say that Cold war had the best perk system out of all of them. Not only did they add a new perk like BO3 did, they had all the og beloved perks (Besides Double Tap but Deadshot kind of takes over for it) but they made them BETTER. I don't mind Elemental pop, it's alright, but what really sells it for me is the final upgrade which gives it Electric Cherry ON TOP of what it was already capable of. I love that you can upgrade your perks PERMANENTLY. It gives the game way more replayability especially with the mindset of "Being Overpowered". A problem I've come to see over the last years is that for some reason they think the zombies should be more powerful than the player. Now don't get me wrong, a map being too easy loses it's luster quickly. But a map that's so god damn grueling and insufferable that only the best of the best can even attempt it's easter egg (I'm looking at you Beast From Beyond) it turns off so many casual and new players, hell even people who've been playing since Waw or Bo1 (My first was Kino) will struggle with these kinds of maps, and when you're fighting an uphill battle against a boulder, it takes all the motivation and excitement out of it. Origins is a perfect example of a balanced experience. Origins is somewhat difficult, but that's because the Journey you go on to collect the staff parts, the mini easter eggs that gave you extra shit like PERK SLOTS WHAT and even that new monkey bomb, along with the elemental fists. Origins was so great because it had difficulty but at the same time if you knew what you wanted and where to get it you could make the experience easier and more enjoyable, my only beef with Origins is the MUD AND THAT GOD DAMN PANZER!
I agree with the perk take of Lex, that the limit is the problem. But just removing the limit entirely is kinda whack to me. The real problem is that a lot of the perks are just not good enough to even compete with Jug, Speed, Widow, etc. A lot of them need a serious upgrade to even stand a chance in the consideration of what to pick.
@Baltic_Dude I think maps like zetsubou do it perfectly where u have the ability to get every perk slot through the gameplay but it's not given for free, you should have to do something to have all the perks
i personally hate leveling up guns in zombies to get attachments to make them better. multiplayer makes a lot of sense for that but i think doing it in zombies is stupid. just give me a red dot sight on every gun and it’s perfect for me.
I think having 3 Self Revives from Black Ops 4, which was implemented into Cold War Zombies is better then re-buying the perk again. And having challenges that gives you more self revives is also a plus. The Perk system in Cold War may have fixed the perk limit issue but it still sort of flawed, because the cost on each perk you get keep increasing. Whereas in your custom Zombie maps, the perk isnt limited but the cost of each perk stay the same as they were in Bo3 treyarch zombie maps. There were really good stand out perk in Bo4 Zombie like Mule Kick (which can save your 3rd gun) and Time Slip, which Cold War implemented into Speed Cola. I think there too much hurdle when alot of people want Mob of Dead, Five and and Call of the dead to get remastered because they're celebrity Maps, they would literally have to spend a lot more money to rehire the same Actors to update voice lines, much like they did with the Ultimas crew and there remastered maps although the same voice actors in Bo3 were already there. But with celebrities I think it's just more complicated. Like how much money did celebrities get when hired on to do Call of the dead, Mob, and even Shadow of Evil. Remaking them seem to be more of a safe way of re-imagining or close to remastering those maps. I've had minor complaints when it came to Mob of the dead especially with the bridge part because it's not co-op friendly. Because when you have 1 person on the damn bridge while other players are on the map there would be no power up drop and no fuel tank spawn in until that one other stupid player returns to the map because he spending too much time using the hell retriever. It's one less headache that the bridge isn't in Blood of the Dead. And why the hell would the bridge be in Blood of the dead when it literally has the Primis Crew. Like putting the Afterlife feature on the Primis crew would make Zero sense. I don't really hate the Victis crew all that much especially when they resurfaced in Comics. Misty was my favorite from the crew, Russman became the interesting character from Buried and what was shown in the Comic for him, being a agent from Broken Arrow. Marlton and Stulinger where rather questionable, I think both were more of the bickering type characters.
The perk system in cold war was necessary because then players would be able to earn all perks too easily. You're not meant to be able to grab all perks in one go, you're meant to manage your points carefully and buy perks based on your preferences. Such as would you be willing to spend 15k on pap or use that towards some useful perks? And just upgrade the rarity of your weapon. It's a decent trade off imo.
I love lex but sometimes his opinions seem to change dramatically really quickly like he will love something one month and then hate it the next and vice versa, it just confuses me, I still love your videos man keep it up
@@kiradoesntsave yeah feel like he is really prone to taking the opinion of others like if he is watching a vid criticizing something then he will talk about how bad everything is but vice versa he will say those same things were great, like he said in one vid that he doesn't get why they didn't put the pentagon their in classified and that it ruins that map but in another vid like 3 days later showing off a mod he says it's great that it gets rid of the pentagon their cause it was annoying having him in five
A few months ago he was talking about how good chaos storyline was now he says he has no clue whats going on, he said ancient evil and dotn are top 10 now he doesn’t like either, he hates the bo4 point system but its the same as cold wars, “if bo4 had bo3 mechanics the gauntlets would be the best weapons because of alchemical” uhh what 😂😂 he also used to say he loved tag and classified now he says theyre not good at all
I think the problem with all new storylines and crews is that they try to hard right at the beginning, the original crew was just blank characters at first and over time they built up the story, MOTD was good cuz it was a simple story with no massive back story to each character, they just need to make some cool looking characterss, throw them in a cool location and make us figure out why there’s zombies and who they are and then build off the community’s ideas (like with how Samantha was made from people hearing “Sam” in a the zombie noises and Treyarch being like “that’s a cool idea 😎”) they try to hard right off the bat
Feeling “too” over powered is dumb. Bc high rounds will cause quitting game bc zombies won’t be a challenge. I agree with everything u said accept for this. U want to feel like u have more power than the zombies but it’s still a hard challenge to keep u on ur edge. That’s why Cold War was ass bc you would literally never die unless u sucked
Infinite Warfare had the best ways of bringing newer feelings while keeping our good old ones. It gave us the four cores while giving us a way to remove them and change it up and also gave us an extra perk slot. They did pac good by adding the double pac. It also had such a nice super Easter egg by giving directors cut and the the final mephistopheles fight. They also had the attachments to the weapons. Infinite Warfare was a good game but was overshadowed and got brung down by the lower sales and the maps
1:02:01 They already kinda have in Vanguard's Shi No Numa with a radio from Krafft where he mentions something about someone experimenting with a treasure called "The Sentinel Artifact".
I played so my 9 in bo4, that I almost never ended up playing the other 3 launch maps. I agree that the community split really hurt the connection and desire to play different maps. There were other things that pulled me away from zombies, but the launch really killed my desire to play zombies moving forward. I barely remember ever playing any of the bo4 zombies maps besides 9. It just didn’t excite me anywhere close to the way bo3 did, so of course if I was ever in the mood for zombies I would just go back to bo3. Especially because, as much time as I’ve put into bo3 zombies, I still haven’t put in as much time as other hardcore zombies fans.
22:25 imagine for just a second, end of rev monty sends the crew back in time, and IX HAS THE CHAOS CREW GO BACK IN TIME (WITH SOMETHING LIKE BURIED'S TIME BOMBS) AND ENDS UP PULLING PRIMIS BACK TO THEIR TIME. THEN. ANCIENT. EVIL. HAPPENS. WITH. CHAOS. AND. PRIMIS. CHAOS THEN TAKES A BACK SEAT AND PRIMIS RIDES THE FUCK OUT ON FUCKING PEGASUS TO KILL MONTY, SHADOW MAN, AND THE APOTHICONS. A DOUBLE BOSS FIGHT WHERE THE BOSSES ARE ALSO FIGHTING EACH OTHER WITH THE GREAT WAR RAGING IN THE BACKGROUND. hell, chaos could even come too. the zombies ending was the worst ending for such a long franchise. thats like at the end of dragon ball the "goku has a heart problem" becomes canon and he just ups and dies from a heart condition one day. or at the end of one piece they just cant find it and give up. or at the end of demon slayer tanjiro slips for half a second and gets shredded by muzan. or a mario game comes out to end all mario games with the biggest shebang, and mario poisons all the crew and asks toad to shoot him with an mr6
I understand what Blundell was trying to say with regards to the revamped perk system but god most of the perks are too niche or flat out useless compared to others
I think people have too much attachment to primes as they have been around for so long. I was excited to see what would happen with the crew from shadows but we didn’t end up seeing them again, which is sad because they were pretty interesting and it would have been cool to see if they get redeemed or not.
Zombies is most likely not gonna peak in 2024, or at least not the way you’d think. It’s most definitely jot gonna reach the numbers of bo3, but in terms of bo4 through vanguard, it just might
Lex I believe that the devs had the idea of using the titanic map, but they couldn’t find a way to fit the aether characters in, which made them create and entirely different storyline with new characters.
Origins is the only zombies experience that has gripped me I’ve done that Easter egg 10-15 times and still I will Never stop playing it I love that egg so much because there was so much love put in that egg at the time
Honestly I really liked bo4 zombies I didn't really see the dislike for it, I mean I've played zombies since bo2 and also watched alot but I kinda liked what was offered in bo4 like the ideas with perks and the specialists and I really liked the chaos crew. Tbh I kinda hate that people say oh I like this because the next game was bad or the next one was bad like, like the game if you genuinely liked it or it and I am kinda disappointed since bo4 had make potential such as a 2nd year and the dlcs not be rushed and treyarch not having that much of a budget.
Could you imagine if they put pack a punch in the lab (giving you a reason to actually go back after you spawn) and had the BOSS fight on the Golden Gate Bridge??? OMG 😱
I would have loved a map where you're in the perk machine factory and you get to do an easter egg around developing a experimental Soda recipe. Something similar to the Nuka Cola factory in Fallout
I say Cold War has one of the best if not the systems for the perks and the upgrades like it gives u a reason to grind high rounds in zombies to max your character out now if it had gobblegums omg it would be crisp
I legit started playing zombies towards the end of bo3. rev was out, and I tried shadows of evil first, then me and a buddy bought rev. I absolutely loved it lol we thought rev was a great map. we didn't keep up with zombies at all before that, so there were no crazy expectations, just going into the map blind to check out a new map. so yeah I'm always surprised when I hear people hated rev as much as they did
I always thought it was pretty fun, and was also surprised/saddened when I found out that people disliked it, but understood why. Really wish I could get the chance to play it again, soon.
It’s definitely not hated but probably the weakest of bo3 maps, still a good map and it’s still liked but most people. At the time zombie fans wanted a map like that too
At least D2 got a new elemental subclass (Stasis) and began reworking the old subclasses (Void & Solar 3.0). BO4 got shafted hard in relation to the perk system. If BO4 maps were on BO3 engine/system, they would work well.
I’d defs go back to bo4 to play zombies. I remember grinding for the botd ee at launch and the constant crashes and bugs just made me never play the game again so I’d want to go back and try bo4 zombies
What they should have done with perks is remove the limit, make them a little more expensive, and make so they get more expensive the more perks you buy. They couldve also made a map where jugg was less useful, by making the zombies in less numbers, but stronger. Making this difference makes the use of all the perks actually fun and interesting instead just the four og perks all the time
Even if you don't know anything Greek Mythology when you play Ancient Evil, you can interact with statues and paintings everywhere and The Oricle [Medusa] will explain their imagery or reason for being there.
I actually 100% agree with the rev point because the Chaos storyline was out of left field so it would make sense if the great war map was the final Aether map and then they made a new timeline which would be the Chaos storyline and the new perk system would make more sense and every difference would make a bit more sense with the new timeline and all

Why do I always get the feeling that BO4 zombies feels older than BO3 zombies, it just feels like it in a way
because BO4 is worse so it feels like it came out before BO3
Probably because bo4 came and went while BO3 is still relevant with custom maps

40:50 most savage moment in lex’s life to just make Jason realize he messed up 🤣
personally I think bo4 should've been a just chaos storyline game, putting in the aether storyline felt like a way just to get people to play the zombies more and the mechanics of bo4 have always felt more right on the chaos maps to me.
New point system is good in it's own ways
Having a point system that can be easily exploited with bad guns doesn't exactly make it a compelling system. The fact that killing zombies too quickly in a game all about *killing zombies* is a *bad thing* then something is wrong.
If bad weapons are an issue then the problem is that they are bad weapons, not because they don't have the old point system to make them useful
Seeing the points rise and all the +10 when using smgs or something like that is so satisfying
I dont agree with the first but the second point makes sense
Very true
Depending on the map or the objective I pick my priority perks and later when I have points I can pick all the others without having to do weird shit every single time
this and just buff the shit perks; make phd and electric cherry actually do reasonable damage for example
to this day i stand by that BO4 is a GREAT zombies game, only bad thing is points system, but you really dont even notice.

@@hippohippo9344 that doesn't make sense. TH-camrs would like that there is so much content to cover. TH-camrs didnt like BO4 because it was worse than BO3 and didnt meet a single person's expectations (expectations that were set by the devs)

1:02:02 crazy how this kinda actually is happening with dark aether now
It is happening that’s why sentinel artifacts exist in B06
But the main reason it failed was because Aether wasn’t finished they tried to do to much all at once and all sides suffered heavily because of it
Zombies will never peak again , the only reason zombies was so loved was because of the round based and certain crews now it’s all a mashup
Leave it to lex to initiate the yapfest of the century by turning a 54 min vid into almost 2 hours
Cold War still made wall weapons and box usual because loadout weapons were weaker than just a common tier of the same weapon

dead of the night was one of the only bo4 maps i liked and actually played a decent amount of. I could never do the ee solo because of the astrology step and me being bad, but i still enjoyed playing the map. the 3 stage wonder weapon was cool to use, the boss was unique, the mini bosses were unique, the map layout wasnt that bad, and there was a lot of stuff to do that wasnt all that complicated. mob of the dead is so beloved, the ONLY FUCKING reason theyre not lived more than primis is because we had more maps and time with primis, if there was another map about the mob crew people would lose their goddamn minds
Literally one thing black ops 4 did right. Putting a mule kick symbol on your third weapon so you would know which gun you’d lose.
True 😂
I think its impossible for zombies not to have a comeback, especially with kevin drew at the helm. But also the fact that the community is so big and theres sooo many players out there who are just silently waiting for another GOOD zombies era.
honestly what is zombies without the artists we had previously??? are the big suites behind black ops, tuned in to know what’s best for zombies/multiplayer????
The thing is lex is that bo3 multiplayer doesn’t even work anymore. I mean it probably hacked on pc and on console people can turn invisible and invincible.
Probably not gonna have another story with 4 characters since we got now 2 games straight with silent , no personality , emotionless operators
Late to this but it's pretty funny the wonder weapons are put to one side for the helion salvo apart from like Ancient evil and Alpha omega, everything feels like the Helion is better and more useful than the Wonder weapon on each map.
everything after bo3 lacks that love that they were never able to give

@zStealthy_ true but last aether map having worst playable characters is a slap in the face. map design is still dog
The blood of the dead Easter egg ending was the best thing from Primus in bo4…

When lex laughs it sounds like a dolphin
Say “K” to the “I” to the “A” to the zombies we all once knew…

shoutout icycup in lex's chat for saying aether and chaos will crossover one day... this man could probably predict the end of days as well tbh
I think the solution is to increase the perk limit to 5 or 6 and then yes, buff other perks like they did with double tap to make them worth getting.
@Baltic_Dude I think maps like zetsubou do it perfectly where u have the ability to get every perk slot through the gameplay but it's not given for free, you should have to do something to have all the perks
6:22 honestly didnt even know vangaurd had zombies lol
i personally hate leveling up guns in zombies to get attachments to make them better. multiplayer makes a lot of sense for that but i think doing it in zombies is stupid. just give me a red dot sight on every gun and it’s perfect for me.
15:05 rip
you mean W? bro escaped that crazy b*tch
I love bo3 but i still play BO4 zombies and absolutely enjoy it.
I can’t believe someone in chat said BO3 overrated….
They have absolute no taste is they think that’s true..
Disgusting

Making this difference makes the use of all the perks actually fun and interesting instead just the four og perks all the time
have you ever played cold war sir

You mean the easiest zombies game ever with perks even more busted than ever before
@@ey1615 is there another game that i could’ve been taking about?🤣
@@ey1615 Cold War is good for new people, it’s the reverse part of bo4, a game that appeals to everyone and not only hardcore fans
Shinji theme in the beginning is unmatched
Even if you don't know anything Greek Mythology when you play Ancient Evil, you can interact with statues and paintings everywhere and The Oricle [Medusa] will explain their imagery or reason for being there.
I actually 100% agree with the rev point because the Chaos storyline was out of left field so it would make sense if the great war map was the final Aether map and then they made a new timeline which would be the Chaos storyline and the new perk system would make more sense and every difference would make a bit more sense with the new timeline and all
