Miranda Lambert’s lyrics have never looked more beautiful! I’d love to try this with rose gold flakes and her favorite color pink! Might even see something like this at her boutique in Lindale, TX-The Pink Pistol! I’m sure Miranda herself would like this video should she see it. ♥️ I love it! So gorgeous!
This is one of my favorite tumblers.. its absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for sharing this . Wow .. im going to try something like this . Badassery beautiful
I absolutely love the distressed geode look. I've done it once already, and now know how to do it. I will be doing it more often now! All of these videos are gorgeous!
I was so excited for this one to come out and you did not disappoint! This is absolutely gorgeous!! My paints are coming in today! I still need to order some flakes though! Those are so pretty!! Btw, your hot pink nails with this tumbler at the end of the video, omg! 😍😍😍🔥🔥
BEAUTIFUL!!! 😍😍😍. I have struggled with the water slides, but am going to give it another shot at some point. I tried with the marble print and it bled as soon as it got wet, both times. 😔
I just started making cups but I saw this other video that gave a great tip on waterslides and it works so well for me. I mirror the image and basically print it backwards and I slide the water slide poly acrylic side on the cup and slide the paper part straight off. You should try it and let me know if you like it better!
Thank You SO Much for Sharing THIS Tutorial!! I have been wanting to try the patina kit in a tumbler but it was Always Sold Out😢 the link You Provided in the Description was in STOCK!! 🤩 I’m SO Excited to make one of these!!👏🏼👏🏼🙌🏼😍
This is stunning! I ordered the patina paints the minute I watched this video and now I’m finally going to try to replicate this design! Just curious, could you glitter the base, epoxy and then use the patina paint and flakes?
Yeah I don’t see why not. You could also apply glitter with a dry brush and mod podge using like a brush stroke effect right over the paint for a similar look
@@FlynnSistersBoutique Oooo... that's a cool idea too! I have the cup glittered and epoxied now. Next step: Patina and flakes! Your tutorials are fabulous Jessica!! I have learned so much and the fact that you respond to comments and questions is just absolutely outstanding!! Thank you so much for all you do!!
I think that I have watched every single one of your videos in the past week!!! I live them, your awesome and I am curious if you could post something about what you might write on your care cards and if you put your logos on your cups ever or you just give them a card with your info on it
Girl!! 😍 This is beautiful! I NEED this cup from you! I know u don't sell cuos anymore BUT! I NEED THIS lol I'm in your fb group and I love being a part of that community! Thanks for all you do!! Xoxo~ Lea
Thanks Jessica! Great tutorial as always. The cup is beautiful. Wondering about your comment that you use the acetone from the hardware store. Does it work quicker than the nail type? Thank you!
noticed you said It doesn't mix with acrylic. I really wanted to do this look but with pink. If I did pink acrylic with the bronze OVER It would It work?
So you said “ ignore this part” did u use a different blue then? I love love this look .. I have all the stuff to make it arriving today ! Perfect timing 💕🙌🏻 Love ur group and ur tutorials 😊
Kind of a beginner question, but do you sand the whole cup in between coats of epoxy? Or do you coat epoxy over epoxy with no sanding or sealing previous coat for retention reasons? Thanks for your time! This cup is amazing!!!
Not always. The first 2 coats are back to back so no sanding then after the second coat I sand to smooth and usually minimal sanding between layers after that. If the layers been sitting for over a day I will sans first before coating to help with adhesion
For this design, how large is your decal if you put it on a 20 oz modern curve cup? I’m afraid mine will be either too large or too small for the size of my cup. I struggle with knowing how big to make my decals…is there a general rule as to size?
there's not really a general rule but it helps to have a measuring tape to try and measure the width of your decal first, or you can print on paper first to get an idea for sizing. usually no more than 3" wide for a 20 modern
So pretty! I am having such a problem with my epoxy leaving ripples once it dries. I use a thin coat and use a heat gun when i feel i need it but the end result always feels bumpy, any ideas on what im doing wrong? Love your tutorials!
Love this! I’ve always printed and sealed my water slides in advance all at once though. Why do you say that you shouldn’t? I’ve never had issues. I also use a different brand of paper
i personally found that they become brittle if you do it ahead of time but that's just my personal experience. if that way works for you then great :-)
Yes, I mentioned in this tutorial that the decal is available in the files section of my facebook group. You have to be on the desktop version of facebook to see all the files.
@@FlynnSistersBoutique where did you get the Yellowstone png? I'm trying to find the exact same font but no luck lol I'm trying the distressed look on both sides, I don't have running alcohol so hopefully it will turn out okay still , I have peroxide, would that work?
This cup is jaw dropping. How beautiful!

Gorgeous
Absolutely gorgeous!!! Where can I get that waterslide please?
Kodak brand on amazon
I was wondering g if Ashley has a TH-cam page too. I would love to see what inspired you in your journey.
she does! it's Britches N Bows Shop
Oh I love this!!! Where did you get the saying????
I designed it myself and you can find it for free in the file section of my Facebook group
GORGEOUS!!! 😍😍😍

Wondering about your comment that you use the acetone from the hardware store. Does it work quicker than the nail type? Thank you!
Yes and it’s cost effective 😊 thank you
Can I use folk art Matte chalk paint?
Yes
noticed you said It doesn't mix with acrylic. I really wanted to do this look but with pink. If I did pink acrylic with the bronze OVER It would It work?
You could test it out and see.
Not really sure
Love it!!! 💜🦋

she is!!!
So you said “ ignore this part” did u use a different blue then? I love love this look .. I have all the stuff to make it arriving today !
Perfect timing 💕🙌🏻
Love ur group and ur tutorials 😊
No I used the one I showed in the video and dint use that other boys at all because it’s a regular acrylic paint and it didn’t work well. Thank you 😊
Ok sorry I was confused .. I thought it was the prima paint ...but then second guessed 😊
Can this be done with Acrylic paints? Like the ones from crafts stores or Walmart?
My favorite! I love patina and I have this quote everywhere.
Awesome 😊 thank you
Yeah I found it. Thanks.
No problem 👍

I love your tutorials!!!! What is Ashley’s channel on TH-cam
th-cam.com/users/TumblerswithAshleighMeers
Do you have to use spray sealer?
I prefer to protect my designs with it before epoxy, but it is up to you.
Your videos are my favorite to watch! You make it look so easy and then I try it 🥴😂 What brand acetone do you use? Can I buy it on Amazon?
I use Crown Acetone and I think you have to buy at the hardware store or walmart. i don't think amazon sells it
Would the Patina paste wipe away with the acetone and alcohol the same way the spray paint did if you had not epoxied it? It is a gorgeous design!
I have not tried it but I don’t think you’d be able to clean off the excess paint because it’s so textured
Sooooo cool!!
Love, Love, Love!!!
Love this! Would love to join your community but I can’t find a link anywhere 😭

after how many coats and what brand of epoxy? Are you in my group on fb? That would be a great resource to get help for that
Is the decal still available? I can't find it anywhere.
Facebook deleted all my files from my groups so I’m working to get then back in there for you guys
@@FlynnSistersBoutique oh sorry that happened and thank you. Your cups are beautiful and your video's are very helpful!

I made it, it’s free in the file section of my fb group ☺️

Beautiful! Do you always tape the inside rim of the cup? I haven’t tried that but feel like I always make a huge mess to have to clean up later.
Not always but I do when I know I’m gonna get messy
This cup is perfect for my western groups.
Thank you
What kind of acetone do you use....pure acetone?
yes, like the kind from the hardware store
Love it!!!
Hi I am new to the tumbler decorating & to your page! Why did you use a water slide? Why not vinyl?
for this design I just preferred waterslide. it would work with vinyl also
You said you didn’t use the blue on the beginning l, what did you end up using? Thanks
She used the patina paint blue but there was a different blue paint beside it that she didn't use.
I couldn’t find the file onFB maybe it’s because this was posted last year ago but if you could tell me where you found it
Oh the FS community group in Facebook, in the files section of that group. You’ll need to be on a computer not a phone
Where did you purchase the water slide quote?
I designed it myself. You can find it under the files section of our facebook group which is linked in the description box
Is this decal still available?
Yes, I mentioned in this tutorial that the decal is available in the files section of my facebook group. You have to be on the desktop version of facebook to see all the files.
Can you add gold flakes with tack it?
Yeah definitely

My paint is kinda of dried out. How can I save it? Add water? Help! TIA!!
A little water and just work it in.
Which torch do you recommend for use with epoxy?
Bernzomatic TS4000 trigger torch head from Lowes or Home depot - attach that to a can of green camp gas
@@FlynnSistersBoutique thank you very much
I really LoVe this!!!!
Thank you 😊
