Spot on DT. I've been saying for the past few seasons that we're a small club. Do fans seriously expect to win trophies with Ramsey and Iwobi playing as attacking wingers? Other teams have Sane, Hazard, Willian, Rashford, Son etc in those roles. These are the caliber of players you need to challenge for the league and we simply don't have them because Wenger and the board refuse to spend.

As a Juve fan I will say this guy being interviewed is spot on. I can't even mock Arsenal Fans I actually feel bad for them. Their owner only cares about money. He doesn't have the guts to fire Wenger although they're a complete mess. Arsene Wenger is a stubborn old man who can't adapt. If your a team like Arsenal who has vulnerable defense you do not attempt to free wheel around the pitch against a team like Man City. All they had to do was keep disciplined defensively and counter at the right times. They could've at least got a result that game. But when you face opponents who have significantly better attackers than you, you play smart. As a Juve fan if Allegri went to Arsenal I wouldn't mind. He doesn't fool around, you play disciplined or your gone. Under Wenger over the last 10 years players have become undisciplined tactically and they've suffered the consequences.

Well done DT! I love DT and TROOPZ too simply because they are both realists - they both speak from their hearts and base their opinions on reality! I haven't written in the comments section in a long time simply because I had said that until Arsene Wenger leaves I shall only continue to support Arsenal but NOT to follow them on live games. I only watch the highlights! With regards to the match vs City, Wenger is up to his usual excuses simply because we have lost a match against a team that is far superior to our team. That is what Wenger should have said during his press conference - "listen, we were beaten by a much better team!". Ok David Silva was offside but with regards to the Penalty, I have seen plenty of Penalties given for a similar occurrence in the past! I think it was a penalty since Sterling was given a nudge! Furthermore, City could have been given a Penalty in the first half when Koscielny pushed a City player in the penalty area. Wenger is always coming up with silly excuses instead of admitting that he totally got his formation wrong once again! Has Wenger forgotten how lucky Arsenal were in the FA Cup semi-final against City last year? Has Wenger forgotten how lucky we were in the Final against Chelsea? The first goal against Chelsea in the Final should never have stood since Aaron Ramsey was interfering with play before Alexis had slot the ball in the back of the net for our first goal! What about the "famous" hand ball of Koscielny against Burnley away last season?? We won that game 1-0 but everybody knew that it was handball but Wenger didn't complain simply because Arsenal got away with it and obtained the 3 points at stake! Our performance yesterday against City was abysmal - lethargic and the usual sideways passing of the ball! Wenger got his tactics wrong once again! How could he have left Lacazette on the bench?? Why was Coquelin (who is simply off form as I speak) allowed to play in central defence?? I totally agree with DT that we should lower our expectations since we are no longer a top four side and we WON'T finish in the top four this season! We would be lucky if we finish fifth! Wenger must go and so must the entire board too! We need a new top class manager and we need Ushmanov to take over the hierarchy in order to pump in the necessary funds so that Arsenal can commence with a rebuilding process! Cech must go and so does Monreal, Coquelin, Ozil, Sanchez, Walcott and Koscielny and even Bellerin must go too! I fear the worst is yet to come and as much as I love Arsenal I must admit that Tottenham are a much better team than our present squad and I predict that in our next match at the Emirates Arsenal shall limber to a draw or a 2-1 defeat to Tottenham. Jokes all aside.... I’ve started becoming really interested in football in the last few years and I’ve been watching this arsenal team. I firmly believe they have enough good players to actually challenge for at least top 3. The main issue is the formation, team tactics and management of players to prevent injuries.
If arsenal want to play 3 at the back, you cannot have Ramsey and xhaka in the middle. You need someone who’ll pick the ball up from behind and drive forward. I.e you play wilshere and ozil in the middle. Lacazette needs to play up front and you still need a very good RF. Iwobi is very average.
I also reckon arsenal can not afford to play 4 at the back because Bellerin and kolasinac are not defensive enough and/or arsenal lack a solid central defensive midfielder who’s fast, tracks back and can defend. This whole nonsense on ozil not tracking back etc is irrelevant because top teams don’t have their attacking midfielders defending! I’m starting to believe it should be #wengerout
