If Sonic X went through Unleashed, I could see Sonic entering his dark form, and he'd have to learn how to control it to master its power. Think about. A calm Dark Sonic. It would never happen, but if it did, that would be sick.

There's a problem with this premise because X sonic already had full control of dark super sonic in the anime, showcased by him literally calming down and de-transforming without ANY struggle whatsoever, you'd need to completely change how that scene played out to get the story you're suggesting here.

1. You unlock more characters by playing through the main story.
2. The Sonic you see in the video is a mod called X Sonic and not part of the main game. You gotta install the X Sonic characters mod before you can play as him
