@Edward Gaines Good point. Mega Man 6 is a game I only played for the first time in the 2000s. I like that game a lot, it has a lot of charm. Once we got a SNES back then, sadly it was like the NES didn't exist anymore.

No matter, how many decades have gone by, The ninja Turtles were always as popular as the Beatles. I remember the times when me and my siblings were kids in the 90s, and my mother just couldn’t stand The ninja turtle mania, because the turtles were everywhere.
And here we are, compadres. One of the finest outings for the heroes in a half shell, TMNT III is an even bigger improvement over the last NES outing in every conceivable way. The CIB has skyrocketed in price as it is exponentially rarer than the loose game. Around 10 years ago, a pawn shop near my house got in about a dozen cib mint NES games that the owner had bought from a collector. The ones I remember were TMNT II, TMNT III, Mega Man IV, Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Double Dragon II and Double Dragon III - all wicked games. For some reason they were all priced the same, which made no sense to me. I only could afford to buy one at that point and I picked Mega Man IV. Cowabunga, indeed. (Although you gotta wonder at the ecological implications of the entire island of Manhattan and all its residents suddenly being lifted so high into the air. Shredder truly was psychotic.)
The 3rd one is better to me. I think the 2nd one was a bit too easy except for the last 2 or 3 levels. I felt like the Manhattan Project was a harder version of the 2nd one which makes it more challenging and fun to play.
You guys have great musical taste! That song sounds more like a Natsume style composition (like a song that would be in S.C.A.T.). It's different than most Konami songs IMHO. It's darn good though.
@@rjcupid Funny that you say that since there's a good reason why Konami and Natsume games had such similar sound. Kyouhei Sada did the soundtracks for tons of Konami games (Castlevania 2, Rush'n Attack, Contra, Bayou Billy...) before he left Konami to work at Natsume where he worked on games like Abadox and SCAT.
Thanks for that awesome piece of trivia; I didn't know that. I was hoping someone could relate to my comment and it wouldn't be coming out of left field. I'm just a big fan of Natsume NES and SNES games, so when I heard that song I noticed the similarities immediately.
Hopefully Konami doesn't fuck up The Cowabunga Collection. All of the games I using the arcade titles finally available outside specific unlocks in other games or downloads on 7th gen consoles.

Me and my friend had a hacked version of this game, the foot soldiers had 4 times original health in that and the bosses as well, we used to reach the final boss who was the normal shredder in the hacked version without losing a single life, the normal shredder had "infinite" health though, he used to start blinking but everytime his health used to reset and we could never take him out no matter what. Then one day a boy exchanged his original tmnt3 cartridge with us, we had no idea that this game was going to feel 4 times easier than our hacked version, when we saw every foot soldier and boss crumble in front of our (hyperbolic time chamber training) we were full of hope that this might be the version where that stupid infinite health shredder might fall, and he did, we took out the super shredder easily too. Finally we had beaten this great game after years😂😂😂✊🏻✊🏻.
Michelangelo and Donatello were my favorites because they're "special moves" hit harder than the other 2, and were better to defeat the big bosses, including Krang and Super Shredder.
Who succeeded in restoring the impression felt when playing it in the '90s? Like. I myself remember the fact of me playing it very well, but can't restore the exact impression received namely in the '90s right in the head...
My cartridge just kicked the bucket. Would get to the copyright stuff and then go black. Tried everything with no luck. Had to toss it.
I didn’t realize they use the same
Music as turtles in time .
Uh la pucha.....se me metio una basurita en el ojo!!!!.....😢.....que recuerdos
Hopefully Konami doesn't fuck up The Cowabunga Collection. All of the games I using the arcade titles finally available outside specific unlocks in other games or downloads on 7th gen consoles.
Yeah, especially since those unlock versions weren't great with their redone audio.
Remember: April from Rise of TMNT is not our April!
Yes, I agree with that!
@@masterlee1988 if only they made a totally different character, and a sexy black girl... Fresh Prince of Bel-Air used to have good-looking black girls
@@Paulo2k6 there's nothing wrong with that, but I personally prefer some of the April O'Neils from 90's and 2000s
@@VJ87G did there have any 90s iteration of April?
I know that there had:
- 1987
- 2003
- 2012 (the teenybopper one)
masterpiece!!!😋
This game is right up there with Turtles in Time
Imagine if this game was released when Nintendo came out in 1986
As good as Shredder's Revenge is, I wish they would re-release it with a four-player feature.
Nice Game
Michelangelo and Donatello were my favorites because they're "special moves" hit harder than the other 2, and were better to defeat the big bosses, including Krang and Super Shredder.
Can we find this game on play store
Great video.
I bought one and it was clitchy then I returned it and got another one it was also a bit cllitchy, is this normal ?
Bro, I want to ask how to enter the writing code, I forgot to enter the writing code in this game because I use Android

Did you actually play on the nes or on the cowabunga collection?
0:21 COWABUNGA!!!
Who succeeded in restoring the impression felt when playing it in the '90s? Like. I myself remember the fact of me playing it very well, but can't restore the exact impression received namely in the '90s right in the head... What makes me really sad is that I thought back then the impressions would be with me for good😢
I'm so sad I've got older.
First Turtles game I managed to clear multiple times (with Leonardo of course). In a similar time, too, though I always did on the last continue and with 1 or 0 lives remaining ^^"
