Hey! I used your technique for a mini I just built! Worked out great. Wish you could see it!
That’s awesome man
Good job, I always thought about making a frame of my own one day.
Good job. I made mine easy to remove for maintenance and adjustment purposes, welding the top makes this impossible.
I’m doing this for my mini bike and I have the exact same bike
Nice fabrication using recycled material. Big .👍 # 139
Keep building & stay safe, Joe Z
Sadly he died 2021. They say the last thing they saw was half of a bicycle handlebar fly out of the dust cloud!
I would gusset the forks though
What welder? I'd like to get into welding. Do you have email I could chat with you :)
You can chat with me at ehaich123@gmail.com
The welder is a Lincoln sp-135 plus
How do you adjust and maintain?
Hi, great job, Google Drive document is the link Fallen
Are those forks able to come off this is very important I need to know
No the handle bars do not come off, it’s all one piece
You have to have blind nuts welded on the top of the outer fork tubes, this way you can remove the top plate for adjustment and maintenance.
Ur share link plan is broken..can u share it again?ty
So the forks are mounted permanent and you're not gonna be able to do headset overhaull right?
Yes they are permanent in that one spot
What the height in inches of the top of the handle bars down to the end of the fork cause I’m planning of just using bike forks instead of making them will that work?
Mini bike forks are usually much longer and made from much more durable tubing than most bikes. As much as I love building things and seeing other people's creations. I don't suggest you using bike forks on a mini bike, which you would have to modify in order to do so anyway. I'm saying this out of experience honestly.
My first mini bike frame I built from scratch a few years back, I used front forks, wheel, stem and bars from a Walmart mongoose with aluminum front room figuring it would all hold up well. Of course I had to extend the fork tube and manipulate them a little. But it worked decent until I went off road. After half dozen turns, the front rim literally broke in half causing me to go over the bars. Luckily I was able to laugh that one off as I was only going 10 to 15 mph. I switched to a Haro heffer front rim. Back in business. That was until the forks bent inward after hitting a small pothole. The only parts that didn't bend was the part that I fabricated and welded. That one I didn't get up laughing due to me face planting the cement!
I'm just saying, do what you will. Just be careful. Otherwise I would go a different route! Mini bike forks are designed the way they are with the steel they're made of for a reason.

ur share link plan is diferent with ur video, can u share plan same with ur video?
The plans that I shared are the ones that I used. I just changed some things on the build the way that I wanted it to look
what size rim and tire?? width?
Прикольно 👍
Goooooo!!!
I like the concept.
Thanks
