    Gundam is definitely an intimidating hobby to get into(atleast for me) , I'm thankful to have individuals like you who still encourage people to try this amazing yet costly hobby!

    • @DonSuratos
      @DonSuratos  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh thanks. Gunpla is costly if you are a collector imho. I started customizing gunpla back in 2008, since working on a single kit for months, modifying and such, kinda makes the hobby cheaper. But then again, you need tools... so yes, much like any hobby, it can be costly. ☺️

    That Vallejo pin vice is the same that GW used to sell in the 90's. I have two of those and all I've had to do is put a little oil now and then to stop the end part squeaking. Great tool.
    Excellent video too, even though my shopping list has now grown 🤣👍

      @@DonSuratos it's one of those tools that does what you need without looking flash. Simple to use, though I do recommend paying that bit extra for drill bits. I prefer tin coated ones (usually a gold colour over the cutting section). Hold a sharper cutting edge and rarely break.

    • @DonSuratos
      @DonSuratos  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SteveForteGMR Ah, tungsten drill bits? My Dad has those. Awesome stuff. Super pricey though. ☺️

    • @SteveForteGMR
      @SteveForteGMR 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DonSuratos Titanium Nitride. Don't think it's tungsten but it's defined harder than the dark grey rolled bits. More designed for drilling metal but they also work great on resin and plastic.
      Cost is like you say in your vid though. Spend a bit more and don't collect crap (love that by the way).

    • @DonSuratos
      @DonSuratos  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you. Painting gunpla, in comparison to painting minis is so easy bro. All of your miniture painting skills, should be too much for gunpla painting. 😉 Pick the newer kits, and just pick any design you fancy. ☺️

    Great, just what I need, *another* hobby to drain away my hard earned cash. Joking aside, this is a tempting idea, but ugh, even my level of OCD would be seriously taxed if ever I took up Gunpla!
