Great video! Fun fact - vpn works! As long as you don’t have a sim in your phone at all, tiktok will use your IP to figure out where you are. It’s not super comfortable though as you’d need to reset your phone data too each time to remove all location data your phone already holds

**I've had a lot of questions about this so please read!** The most important factor for this method to work is to have a PHONE NUMBER of the country you are trying to reach. So for example, a UK sim card with a UK phone number. Some esim companies provide a phone number, where as some don't. So if you are using the esim method, please check with the company to see if they provide a phone number. If you are using a physical sim from the country you are trying to reach, I recommend you keep that sim in your phone at all times AND purchase an esim of the country you are in so you can have data (like holafly - the company i mentioned). But whilst using tiktok, turn that esim off in your settings to avoid any interference on the app. You can still use your wifi connection.

Hey! Nope you don't need a new account, this works instantly on your existing account. You just need to change the sim and you'll be targeting the country of that sim.

You should be able to activate it in a different country but it depends if it needs to send an OTP or not. Sometimes, certain OPTs won't be delivered when you are outside that country

I have a decent UK following and I've been active on TikTok for 15 months so I like to think I know what I'm doing on the app... besides this one issue! That's what I wanted to say, you need to create a totally new account and I don't know 100 about the esim because she is trying to reach um audience and she has uk physical sim. TikTok pulls location data directly from your sim in your phone. She only uses Thai esim because she is in Thailand not for TikTok, seems like misinformation to me.

you can still use your wifi connection, the only thing you need to make sure is that you have a sim in your phone with a US number whilst using tiktok. If you still keep a korean sim in the phone it will probably still show you korean tiktoks and push your tiktoks out to korea
My problem is that I have a TikTok account in African with 300k followers and I cannot monetize. I have a friend in the United States who I have trying to run the page for me. When he looks on the region change it’s saying 90 days needs to be waited to change regions. He clicked Dubai on accident and seen it said that, but the United’s states is not even on the list. Should I even bother to wait the 90 days, I feel like after there could be a possibility the US doesn’t even show up, though he’s located in the states. you can use your wifi fine :) and you don't need to change or reset anything. Literally the only thing you need to do is have the sim with the phone number of the country you are trying to target in your phone. :)
This is not correct. I am in the UK and have a UK phone number yet Tiktok refuses to push my content to the UK or US. Instead it sends it to Phillipinnes, Africa and other random countries. Therefore my RPM is £0.01 yet I make millions of views per month. Soo frustrating

It works best if you always leave it in the phone. So if you have a spare phone that would work best and use TikTok on that phone. But if you do have to switch it just make sure you don’t open TikTok

@@rachedbataineh that's strange! What sim card did you put in your phone? Is it an e-sim? If so you have to make sure the phone number of the esim is the country that you're targeting. Some esims will use carriers from different countries. For example I know Airalo uses sinapore for some of their sims.
i bought an US eSim, everything went smooth in the installation in my phone, but i can't gett access to internet while using the eSim in my country.. So i can't connect to TikTok while using the eSim, and if i use the WiFi while having the eSim ON, TikTok still shows me Italian content.. So it didnt work for me
You should still be able to use Wi-Fi without it affected the country. Do you still have your Italian sim in your phone? If so - you’ll need to remove it completely and close and re-open the TikTok app.

From trying this I can confirm it doesn’t work it’s (1st May 2023) I tried targeting UK audience and yes my for you page is English creators but whenever I post a video tiktok doesn’t push it although I get good retention rates from it

You should be able to activate it in a different country but it depends if it needs to send an OTP or not. Sometimes, certain OPTs won't be delivered when you are outside that country

I'm UK based, Ive had a US sim card in consistently for 3 weeks, location off and I've tried US VPN on and off. No matter what I do, I cannot hit the US algorithm.
I have a decent UK following and I've been active on TikTok for 15 months so I like to think I know what I'm doing on the app... besides this one issue!
Perhaps my UK audience is seeing the content and tanking it before the US is getting the chance to evening see it?

That's what I wanted to say, you need to create a totally new account and I don't know 100 about the esim because she is trying to reach um audience and she has uk physical sim. TikTok pulls location data directly from your sim in your phone. She only uses Thai esim because she is in Thailand not for TikTok, seems like misinformation to me.

The vpn one works only if you know what you are doing lmao, if you just install a vpn only on your phone and connect it will work only for your for you page *maybe* but it wont work for posting content as it wont affect or gives you a shadowban, i mostly gonna try alot of methods sutch as reseting my phone and new acc and see how it goes.

I don't see why it would be up to tiktok what sim card you have in your phone. I'm from the uk and i frequently travel and live in other countries. It's much easier for me to keep my uk sim in because i like to keep my number the same and I use it for 2 factor ID and things like that.

you can still use your wifi connection, the only thing you need to make sure is that you have a sim in your phone with a US number whilst using tiktok. If you still keep a korean sim in the phone it will probably still show you korean tiktoks and push your tiktoks out to korea
My problem is that I have a TikTok account in African with 300k followers and I cannot monetize. I have a friend in the United States who I have trying to run the page for me. When he looks on the region change it’s saying 90 days needs to be waited to change regions. He clicked Dubai on accident and seen it said that, but the United’s states is not even on the list. And then uploaded one video to the same account on Tik Tok but with Spanish SIM and it turned viral but for totally different audience😢 And now even when I go live with lithuanian SIM, I still see many foreigners joining and less lithuanians…

This is not correct. I am in the UK and have a UK phone number yet Tiktok refuses to push my content to the UK or US. Instead it sends it to Phillipinnes, Africa and other random countries. Therefore my RPM is £0.01 yet I make millions of views per month. Soo frustrating

It works best if you always leave it in the phone. So if you have a spare phone that would work best and use TikTok on that phone. But if you do have to switch it just make sure you don’t open TikTok

@@rachedbataineh that's strange! What sim card did you put in your phone? Is it an e-sim? If so you have to make sure the phone number of the esim is the country that you're targeting. Some esims will use carriers from different countries. For example I know Airalo uses sinapore for some of their sims.

i bought an US eSim, everything went smooth in the installation in my phone, but i can't gett access to internet while using the eSim in my country.. So i can't connect to TikTok while using the eSim, and if i use the WiFi while having the eSim ON, TikTok still shows me Italian content.. So it didnt work for me
You should still be able to use Wi-Fi without it affected the country. Do you still have your Italian sim in your phone? If so - you’ll need to remove it completely and close and re-open the TikTok app.
You need an esim with us phone number, not just the data plan. Had a look on Holafly and they dont seem to offer it
