- I tried to reach US audience on TikTok with sim card method. My hypothesis was that VPN limits your reach, while sim card could bring more views. Watch till the end to learn how to reach USA audience without VPN and to see my results of this test.

Hey, you can use Android but there can be some differences since android usually dont have the region settings, then you need to select phone language for US. Normally i use iphone so i filmed the video by using the iphone

Hey, yes that works, you can use vpn to create an account in DE/UK or FR where it doesn't require tax documents, and then use US sim card to reach usa audience

Hey, idk if there is any problem, just use US sim card when logging in, and that's it, see the steps i described in my video. Change region, use wifi, etc.

I believe you might have been shadow banned. the best way to find out is to reset your phone and create a new tiktok account, warm it up and then see if now you get more views than 800 with the sim or no. and make a video on that too please.
will be trying this for a client account, and if that works i can create another video explaining the process. But for my own account, i'm not really sure if thats a shadow ban to get 800 views, sometimes 1k views. I think shadown ban is when you get 100-200 views max

Hey, yes that's how it works, just insert sim card, change phone region settings to USA and you will reach US audience by using home wifi. For security issues - use it at your own risk, because there are hundreds of reasons why account can get suspended, but sim card works for me, and i use it daily on my small account

Hi! I am from South Korea and this video was very helpful. I still have some questions. If you are using old used iphone just for tiktok, do you have to film videos with it or only for the upload? Also do you have to delete the app on your other phone? I am a bit confused😅
Heyy, here are the answers:
1. No you dont need to film, you can just transfer the footage through gdrive to the old phone
2. No need to delete the app on the other phone, just don't login on both phones, because if you have US sim card in the old phone, and then you login to tiktok without US sim card on the other phone to the same account, then obviously tiktok will see this and you can get in trouble for switching the locations instantly. Thats the only reason to keep it separate.

Hey, add vpn for creating account, and make sure to change phone region settings to make this work. Btw UK/DE account might be better than US, because they dont ask for tax documents. But you can still target US audience with sim card later on, its just creating the account based in UK/DE might be better

Hey, if you have the tiktok app installed already, then sim card will help you to reach US audience. But if you can't even download the app, then vpn might help you to change the location to download the app.

Hey, I mentioned this in my video - I don't activate the sim card, so the plan doesnt matter at all. I take 6 day plan because that was the cheapest option for this sim card. I don't refill, I dont top up, I dont activate it. I just insert it in to my phone, and thats it, and use wifi for internet. Sometimes we want to make things more complicated when its so simple haha

Hey, thats correct, you dont need to activate the sim card, so the plan doesnt matter, and its just a one time payment to get the sim card, and thats it.
I havent tried e-sim, because sim card works perfectly, but with e-sim I believe you need to have a subscription which will cost way more since you have to pay a monthly fee

Hi yes, usa sim card is enough to reach usa audience. i keep mine sim card all the time because i have 2 separate phones, but if you have just 1 phone, then ofc switch it, but keep in mind after switching sim card, scroll on tiktok for 15mins so the phone recognizes the sim card, and dont use tiktok with local sim card in that case, because tiktok will see this and you might get 0 views because of that

How many videos have you posted? try to post 5+ videos, and leave those on your account that gets 0 views, dont delete them, also dont follow, dont comment, dont like posts, just watch videos and post 1 video per day max. After 5 posts (if all gets 0 views) 6th video might start getting views, and if not, then delete those videos and restart a new account

Hey, I will try to post for a couple more months, if nothing changes then might try restarting the tiktok account, but for now i think its pretty solid to get 800 views on average. Regarding the Amazon, i bought the sim card from Amazon.de and sim card has a limited time for the plan (6 days plan) but i didnt register my card, so not sure, the booklet says its valid until 2025 April 25 (thats 1 year), but since my phone recognized the card without registration and its reaching usa audience anyways so i guess there is no expiration for this

Hey, i didn't delete tiktok, i just put the sim card in my phone and started posting on tiktok right away. But make sure that your region settings on phone is set to USA, and set language to EN (US).
The only time you would need to delete the tiktok and reinstall it - if you want to create a new account that is usa based, then yes.

Hey brother, i mentioned this, I dont activate the sim, so i dont pay any monthly fees, its just one time payment to get the sim and thats it. There is 1 year expiration date for sim activation, so i dont know what happens after 1 year, maybe you have to buy another one or maybe it will still work, we will see

@@mateisgv944 no need vpn, just sim card is enough. If you decide to switch your local sim to UK sim on the phone, then give an extra 30mins or so before posting after switching the sim cards. And also don't forget to change phone region settings to uk

Hey, you can use the sim card even without activation, it still works. Not sure what happens when sim card expires, because mine expiration date is set to 1 year, so will see that in the future. But i don't activate it.

Hey, because i wanted to try the physical sim card. With e-sim, i believe you need to purchase a plan, and pay monthly fee, but with physical sim card, you don't need to even activate it

i use it without rebooting. I think rebooting is only needed when you want to create a new usa based account, then you have to download tiktok from usa apple store, and to do this, you need to delete the tiktok app, use vpn or usa sim card and download the tiktok again. But for posting, no rebooting needed.
