- You can easily get infinite restoration times 2 with karnstein armlets. Melee kills give you restoration times 1, finishers give you restoration times 2. This only lasts 8 seconds but you can easily extend this timer indefinitely up to 15 seconds with ember of empyrean and a good ad clearing solar weapon like sunshot. Get 1 finisher, kill things with sunshot to extend the timer back to 15 seconds, and never die because you have unlimited healing.

It's not. Better ways to heal exist. It's only useful for other classes outside of solar, which don't have access to heals.
It’s relevant to casuals because they don’t know about speakers sight yet. (Even though it’s literally the most casual friendly exotic in the game and makes everything insanely easy)

Or just use speaker's sight nades with empyrean and you don't even need a kill to start the loop, plus you get bursts of cure x2 while the nade is active which helps a lot in contenr where youre still dying with resto x2. Bonus points if you have teammates cause then ember of benevolence gives you your nade and other abilities back fast

I can stand still in a rift with a nade and survive anything and have my nade back before last one is gone, same with rift.@bigrussiankitty5

The point is its restoration ×2 without having to run healing grenade and touch of flame with sunshot: one of the BEST aoe adclear weapons so you have more room to buildcraft. You just think you're so smart don't you?

Sunshot is insanely good too rn in PvE, it’s been my go to primary along with Red Death!
How is red death in pve? I've only used it for pvp.

Also Heat rises cosume grenade and using phoenix dive give Resto x2. No exotic needed. Although its a lot harder to pull off consistently but still good knowledge to know

This is my go to... Has been for a while now.
On an unrelated note, I typically play solo as the other people I play with are gone frequently.

My trials team all have Heal clip on our summoners, we all run Warlock with healing grenade and blink using stasis now. And we all use chance meele because we have the exotic arm piece for double charge and will blink to them, one of us will throw a grenade and then we’ll finish them off with a few shots of the summoner and reload to get the cure effect, and take turns going in a group of 3 one to rush in, one to heal, another to jump in and take damage while the other dips back a bit and gets ready to use well on Res if needed etc

Marshix is the best D2 TH-camr, and I only just discovered you. How is this possible.
This was basically the build to run solo Warlord's Ruin. It's particularly great in the first encounter because Restoration x2 has 8 seconds and you can extend it with Sunshot easily just killing scorn.
This gauntlets really saved me lots even in raids
You can also pair the gauntlets with a glaive and have infinite healing with each glaive stab kill
Good luck making this work in anything harder than a Vanguard Strike
It also works if you phoenix dive with normal restoration

You can do this with sunbracers which is a better exotic

Finishers don’t work like that, they are all the same just different cosmetic wise. So it doesn’t matter which one you use.
The only thing that affects finishers is certain fragments

You can do this with any healing at all. You don't need karnstein gauntlets to do it.
It's just less avaliable without the gauntlets.

@@HugeHaddock dude. You can make use of other forms of restoration especially on solar. The new speakers sight helm is better, and you can manage restoration x2 through fragments as well. Especially with Phoenix dive. These gauntlets are USELESS on solar. You might be able to use them on other subclasses for that restoration. But warlocks don't really need it anymore.
@@HugeHaddock throw on the fragment that boosts restoration effects, even without the helm, use heal grenade, and just run around with an ad clear weapon.

What the hell is going on with Bump in night RL... I noticed when i stun a champ and shoot RL it will randomly go through it with no damage 😂... Left me scratching my head while farming this exotic

I mean resto x2 definitely does help in gms. It gives you an extra shot or two until death. But speakers sight is just x10 better

In the end both have a way to increase that timer by killing anything -.- (on Solar)

The energy/heavy weapon has to be the same as the subclass and only with that weapon you can get that restoration up
@@IceColdWolf9372 The argument is "there is too much survivability in the game so we limited overpowered healing to specific subclasses and want only solar warlock to have access to resto x2".
Also yes, a finisher is significantly more difficult/risky to pull off in content where the x2 matters. Which is why practically nobody actually uses Karnstein to get resto x2, as you can see from the other comments.

Also with the Finisher thing i truly dont see the difficulty in end game (gm's/Master Raids etc.) It usualy works out better than the weapon kills (cause for some reason it bugs out a bunch since this dlc dropped, and doesnt give me a healing effect at all.)

Vexcalibur is kinda useless, in no situation do you need the survivability it gives while also being able to survive in the range the weapon requires lol
People overestimate the effects of restoration
You will die almost instantly in a gm if u that this much damage from wyvernrs
I mean yeah, but resto x2 let’s you complete the gm faster. Less time hiding waiting for health to regen. Also most enemies you can tank an extra shot or two with resto x2. Realistically though these gauntlets suck and speakers sight is just x10 better

Cuz im pre sure you get basically the same fragments you need, plus some more, and you have healing nade still so even more resto keep up, still have flame melee, and then just grab hellion and devour for more healing, helion will help keep it up with solar kills, and well, devour
You wouldnt have empyrean to extend resto so you would have to get a finisher every ~8 seconds but it is still doable
