It took me a moment to figure out how to get the blu-ray out of the sleeve also lol. I don't have Atmos capability either, but I have listened to all the mixes, including the Atmos downmixed to 5.1. They all sound good, although the Atmos seems mastered a bit louder than the 5.1 mix.

Yeah, all the ATMOS remixes I own always seem to sound a little "off" to me when they are folded down to 7.1. Maybe it's just me though...

@@TheDarrenLock Good for you. I listened to this at my record store and this is possibly the worst remaster/pressing of them all. But as a closet filler it's probably satisfying. I'm sticking with the 2016 edition. I'm curious about the surround mix on the Blu Ray, but that's the only thing for me. Prog on!

Well they’ve been putting albums out on…wait for it…DVD for over 20 years now… I know is a bit of a shock, so have a sit down and let that settle it. 👍

@@TheDarrenLock I'd say the same about DVD. A single layer Blu-ray can hold 25GB and a DVD 7-7.5GB on average, both of which are far more space than required. An album will easily fit on a CD with plenty of space to spare.

Dude, a CD has 16 bit 44.1 kHz audio in stereo on it while you can put 24 bit 96 kHz in 5.1 on a Blu Ray Audio .@@daztrue

@@lucalone Those are just standardised formats/settings for pre-formatted discs. However, I can see the logic of intending to avoid any hardware incompatibilities.
