We did get relegated in 1999 when our best players were sold or went on strike, the board broke promises and we were infamously thrashed by Manchester United *8-1* 4) We aren't challenging for promotion every season. Its mostly been misery but we keep on turning up. Things aren't too good now but perhaps things can change. Stranger things have happened.

Forest is one of the most stagnant teams out there. They've been stuck in the 2nd division for 12 years now, there are teams from the 3rd division that were able to get promoted to the premier league in less amount of time.
