Shopping in Bangkok is a day-and-night activity that runs parallel with the best in the West, it is one of the famous cities in this world that combines the luxury of its gigantic malls with the hustle and bustle day and night markets, so whatever you are looking for. From famous brands to the cheapest copy of that same brands you can find it in Bangkok.So better to fatten your purse and hit the shops to satisfy your shopaholic desires.In this V-log we are going to Guide you to best shopping malls and markets in Bangkok city, so let’s take our wallets & and explore them one by one.
Number 1: MBK Center
MBK Center is probably Bangkok's most legendary shopping mall, popular with both tourists and locals, and busy with shoppers every day. There are eight floors packed with 2,000 shops that sell everything from clothing, fashion accessories, handbags, and much more.MBK Center is particularly easy to reach thanks to a direct walkway linking to National Stadium BTS Sky train Station.
Number 2: Chatuchak Weekend Market
Chatuchak weekend market is the largest weekend market in Asia It has reached a landmark status as a must-visit place for tourists. Its sheer size and diverse collections of merchandise will bring any seasoned shoppers to their knees - this is where you can literally shop ‘till you drop’
in this market you can find everything you dream off , also has a great variety of street food section. Take your hat or umbrella with you so you can survive the heat of the day.

Pratunam is well-known among locals as the wholesale fashion district. Shopping here is fun because there’s a whole collection of accessories to dress you up from head to toe - at a bargain. Very interesting and helpful video, as a seasoned visitor of Bangkok, I agree with your selections. Please note that when you introduced Siam Paragon, you were showing the interior of Siam center (its next door neighbor), the difference can be huge. Siam Paragon for its huge size, features much more than 250 shops, has an underwater aquarium in the basement. Siam center has been totally renovated a few years ago, and is a mecca for local fashion designers.

How could you totally forget the Central Group which is possibly bigger than or the same size as the Mall Group. Central owns Central World, Central Embassy, Central and Robinson as well as Tops supermarket and Big C. The Mall Group owns Siam Paragon, Siam Centre, Siam Discovery Centre, The Mall and Emporium. Of course the new Iconsiam which is not the easiest to get to but has great river view and is interesting to go by boat. Or Kor Tor is good to visit or to buy good quality fruits if you don't mind the outrageous prices.

I would say the best one is the Pratunam mall and Chatuchak
They are the most cheap shops among them and always a good experience to enjoy shopping in these open space shopping areas .🙂

Was at Pantip plaza 2 months ago. Pantip Plaza is rooted. The top 2 floors are a ghost town. Down on lower levels vacant shops everywhere. Very different to 10 years ago. And you didn't name the Chinatown hidden shops in the underground, enter at back of Bulapa hotel one end and off Yaorawat rd the other end. It's just before you get to the bridge over the klong. Interesting and a bit cooler on a hot day.
My friend you are right have lots of my friends there closed their shops due to high rents and expenses. And left to fortuna mall in Rama nine.
I will make a review about that Electronic mall soon.
